20220054978 · 2022-02-24 ·

An exhaust gas purification filter comprises a base material part, a catalyst layer, and sealing parts. The base material part comprises porous partition walls. The catalyst layer is supported on pore walls of the partition walls. The partition walls supporting the catalyst layer comprise 10% or less of pores having a pore diameter of 50 μm or more. In the pore diameter distribution in the partition walls supporting the catalyst layer, the pore diameter D50 at which the cumulative pore volume becomes 50% is 10 μm or more. The pore diameter D50, and the pore diameter D10 at which the cumulative pore volume becomes 10%, satisfy the relationship of the following Expression 1.

(D50−D10)/D50≤0.9  Expression 1

Filter media and elements

HIGH EFFICIENCY AND HIGH CAPACITY GLASS-FREE FUEL FILTRATION MEDIA AND FUEL FILTERS AND METHODS EMPLOYING THE SAME
20170296953 · 2017-10-19 ·

High efficiency and high capacity glass-free filtration media include a blend of synthetic non-fibrillated staple fibers and fibrillated cellulosic staple fibers, wherein the fibrillated cellulosic fibers are present in the media in an amount to achieve a multipass dust holding capacity of 10 mg/in.sup.2 and greater, and a multipass filtration efficiency at 1.5 microns of greater than 50%. The filtration media is made by forming a wet laid sheet from a fibrous slurry blend of the synthetic non-fibrillated staple fibers and fibrillated cellulosic staple fibers, followed by drying the sheet to obtain the filtration media. Optionally, the filtration media may be provided with a resin binder and may be grooved and/or pleated.

FILTER MEDIUM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILTER MEDIUM, WATER TREATMENT MODULE, AND WATER TREATMENT DEVICE

The filter medium is a filter medium which uses a liquid containing oil and water as a separation target, and has a channel for the liquid. The filter medium includes a base constituting the channel, and one or more of nitrogen-containing fluorine compounds which are provided on at least a portion of a surface of the channel. The nitrogen-containing fluorine compound includes an oil-repellency imparting group and any one hydrophilicity imparting group selected from a group consisting of an anion type, a cation type, and an amphoteric type, in a molecule.

FACE MASK
20220040615 · 2022-02-10 ·

A face mask containing a network of conductive activated carbon meso-fibers crosslinked with a crosslinking agent bonded to a insulative polymeric micro-fiber based purification element. The purification element is captured between two ridged porous elements and contacted to the face by a biocompatible flexible polymeric seal. Optionally the front cover attaches to a main frame of the mask through a system of sliding locks that are coupled with bayonet latch mechanisms. The face mask attaches to the head of a wearer through a harness that couples with the sliding locks or alternatively with a biocompatible adhesive.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SINGLE-PIECE COLUMN STRUCTURE FOR THE SEPARATION OF A FLUID MEDIUM

A method of manufacturing a separator element for obtaining molecular and/or particulate separation by tangential flow of a fluid medium for treatment into a filtrate and a retentate, the element having a structure (2) of at least two porous rigid columns (3) made of the same material, positioned side by side to define, outside their outside walls, a volume (4) for recovering the filtrate, each column (3) presenting, internally, at least one open structure (5) for passing a flow of the fluid medium, opening out in one of the ends of the porous column for inlet of the fluid medium for treatment, and in the other end for outlet of the retentate. The element is a single-piece rigid structure (2) made as a single piece that is uniform and continuous throughout, without any bonds or exogenous additions.

COATED SUBSTRATES AND ARTICLES WITH ANTI-VIRAL PROPERTIES, AND FABRICATION PROCESSES

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to coated substrates having, e.g., anti-viral properties, to articles including the coated substrates, and to processes for making such coated substrates and articles. In an embodiment, a coated substrate is provided. The coated substrate includes a substrate having a weight of about 120 g/m.sup.2 or less according to ASTM D3776, mineral oxide particles, iron oxide particles, or both, coupled to at least a portion of the substrate wherein the coated substrate has a breathing resistance (95 L/min, EN 149:2001) of about 6 mbar or less.
