A system and method for removing gas bubbles from fluid. An active filter apparatus forces the bubbles to the center of the filter, while a pump supplies fluid to the filter.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLD-RESISTANT PAPER WITH WET SCRUBBER ASSEMBLY
20170095829 · 2017-04-06 ·

Embodiments of a system and a method for preparing mold-resistant paper comprising a wet scrubber assembly in fluid communication with at least one collection plenum disposed at an operational area of a paper manufacturing line. The wet scrubber assembly can be operated to draw a stream of exhaust air from the operational area of the paper manufacturing line through the wet scrubber assembly to remove particulate from the exhaust stream. Such systems and methods can be used to produce mold-resistant paper by coating a paper with an antimicrobial composition including at least one antimicrobial additive at the calendering stage. The collection plenum can be placed in proximate relationship with the calendering stack such that the amount of antimicrobial additive particulate in the air at the calendering stage is reduced. The mold-resistant paper can be used in a gypsum panel.

Method and apparatus for removal of gas bubbles from blood

A system and method for removing gas bubbles from blood during circulatory assist procedures. An active filter apparatus forces the bubbles to the center of the system where they are removed from the blood before the blood exits the filter.

System for separation of gas and solid

A system for separation of gas and solid at least comprises a cyclone trapping device and a negative pressure waste gas treatment device. The cyclone trapping device has a gas inlet and outlet chamber and a cyclone separation chamber communicating with each other, and the gas inlet and outlet chamber has a gas inlet tube communicating with a process waste gas source and a gas outlet tube communicating with the negative pressure waste gas treatment device. A process waste gas generated by the process waste gas source is introduced into the gas inlet and outlet chamber through the gas inlet tube to generate cyclones, thereby separating a portion of solid particles from the process waste gas, and transmitting the process waste gas to the negative pressure waste gas treatment device through the gas outlet tube in order to further separate the remaining solid particles from the process waste gas.

WET AIR FILTRATION DEVICE
20250189150 · 2025-06-12 ·

Air filtration devices are described for wet air filtration. In exemplary embodiments, an air filtration device includes a housing having an air intake and an air outlet. An air conduit extends between the air intake and the air outlet. A fan is positioned in the air conduit and configured to draw air into the device via the air intake and propel the air through an air channel towards the air outlet. The air conduit includes a liquid introduction section configured to introduce a liquid to the air in the air channel, and a liquid removal section configured to guide the air in a downward helical path downstream of the liquid introduction section configured to separate the liquid from the air using centrifugal force.

Temperature controlled exhaust stream water filter for coffee roasters

A cyclonic chiller-separator, including a vertically oriented treatment tower defining an interior space and having an exhaust inlet disposed in an upper portion, and a chimney with an exhaust outlet; an exhaust stream conduit in fluid communication with said interior volume of said treatment tower through said exhaust inlet, wherein said exhaust inlet is configured to induce cyclonic fluid motion in an exhaust stream entering said interior volume; a coolant water source; and a plurality of nozzles disposed about interior walls of said treatment tower and in fluid communication with said coolant water source for spraying cooling water into said interior volume above and into an exhaust stream introduced into said interior volume so as to cool, condense, and precipitate volatile organic compounds and organic acids, and to entrain and remove particulates from the exhaust stream.
