The present disclosure relates to the field of medical instruments, in particular to a pad for acetabular bone revision and reconstruction and a fixing structure for a pad and an acetabular cup prosthesis. The pad is located between an acetabular cup prosthesis and the acetabular bone, and is connected to the acetabular cup prosthesis and the acetabular bone respectively. The pad includes a first component and a second component which has the same or different radius and shape as or from the radius and shape of the first component; the first component is movably connected with the second component; and the shape of the connected first component and second component is matched with a defective part of the acetabular bone.

Bifurcated highly conformable medical device branch access

The present invention comprises a highly conformable stent graft with an optional portal for a side branch device. Said stent graft comprises a graft being supported by a stent, wherein said stent comprises undulations each which comprise apices in opposing first and second directions and a tape member attached to said stent and to said graft such that the tape member edge is aligned to the edge of the apices in the first direction of the each of the undulations, thus confining the apices in the first direction of the undulations to the graft and wherein the apices in the second direction of the undulation are not confined relative to the graft; wherein said graft forms unidirectional pleats where longitudinally compressed and wherein said apices in the first direction of said undulation is positioned under an adjacent pleat when compressed. The invention also discloses and claims methods of making and using said highly conformable stent graft and method of making the optional portal.

Expandable Spinal Implant Apparatus And Method Of Use
20230172718 · 2023-06-08 ·

A spinal implant apparatus that is an expandable spacer including features to minimize or eliminate spacer cant or offset during and after completing the expansion process. The spacer includes a top component, a base component in engagement with the top component, and an expansion mechanism arranged to change the top component's position with respect to the base component. The mechanism for causing expansion may be a screw, a cam, a wedge or other form of distracting device. In one embodiment, the expandable spacer includes a base component with a set of towers and a top component with a set of corresponding silos, where the towers and silos are configured to minimize or eliminate tilt of the top component as it extends upwardly from the base component.

EXPANDABLE VERTEBRAL PROSTHESIS
20220362033 · 2022-11-17 ·

The present invention relates to an expandable prosthetic implant device for engagement between vertebrae generally comprising an inner member, outer member, gear member and a locking assembly positioned coaxial with respect to each other such that the inner and outer members are moveable relative to each other along an axis. The gear member is axially fixed to the outer member and freely rotatable with respect to the outer member and the gear member threadedly engages a threaded portion of the inner member to translate inner member along the axis. The implant is configured to engage the vertebrae in a predetermined alignment and the gear member includes gear teeth exposed to the exterior and configured to be accessible by a tool member at a plurality of angular positions around the perimeter of the implant device.

TECHNIQUES FOR DEPLOYMENT OF A PROSTHETIC VALVE

A delivery tool includes a delivery capsule, disposed at a distal portion of the tool. The delivery capsule includes a proximal capsule-portion dimensioned to house a first part of an implant, and a distal capsule-portion dimensioned to house a second part of the implant; and an extracorporeal control portion, disposed at a proximal portion of the tool, the control portion including one or more controllers and one or more locks. The controllers are operatively coupled to the proximal and distal capsule-portions such that the proximal and distal capsule-portions are movable with respect to the implant via actuation of the controllers. The tool has sequential states in which movement of the proximal and distal capsule-portions is variously inhibited or facilitated.

Intervertebral implant

An adjustable spinal fusion intervertebral implant is provided that can comprise upper and lower body portions that can each have proximal and distal wedge surf aces disposed at proximal and distal ends thereof. An actuator shaft disposed intermediate the upper and lower body portions can be actuated to cause proximal and distal protrusions to converge towards each other and contact the respective ones of the proximal and distal wedge surfaces. Such contact can thereby transfer the longitudinal movement of the proximal and distal protrusions against the proximal and distal wedge surfaces to cause the separation of the upper and lower body portions, thereby expanding the intervertebral implant. The upper and lower body portions can have side portions that help facilitate linear translational movement of the upper body portion relative to the lower body portion.

Telescoping prosthetic valve with retention element

An implantable device is disclosed. The device includes a leaflet frame subcomponent and an anchor frame subcomponent that are configured to be delivered in a series configuration and subsequently nested or telescoped in-situ.

Spine stabilization device, and method and kit for its implantation

A spine stabilization device having an interbody spacer shaped to be inserted between a vertebral body of an upper vertebra and a vertebral body of a lower vertebra. The device further includes a fixation device to be inserted after placement of the interbody spacer, the fixation device having a support portion securing the interbody spacer against escaping from between the vertebral bodies into a ventral direction. The support portion rests against a portion of an anterior surface of the interbody spacer, and includes an anchor. The anchor has an anchoring material portion that is inserted, in a liquid state, into cancellous bone tissue of at least one of the vertebral bodies of the upper and lower vertebra, to thereby infiltrate the cancellous bone tissue, and to harden thereafter so as to fix the support portion to the vertebral body.

MAGNETIC ASSISTED IN-SITU TUBULAR STENTGRAFT FENESTRATION

A magnet assisted surgical device, system, and method employs magnetic sections, catheters, and guidewires to modify tubular stentgrafts in-situ. One example application provides a more reliable way for surgeons to modify stentgrafts insitu to allow blood flow to continue to branching blood vessels that would otherwise be blocked by the stentgraft itself. One such method includes placing a tip section of the device in the desired location, deploying a stentgraft, placing a magnetic device inside the stentgraft, connecting the magnetic device to the tip section, and excising the portion of the stentgraft held between the magnet and the tip section.
