11701059 · 2023-07-18 · ·

A universal implantable integrated circuit medical device platform having integral and monolithic circuit traces. The platform allows for implanting into a mammalian body single and multi-functional interface devices for sensing, monitoring stimulating and/or modulating physiological conditions within the body. Microelectronic circuitry may be integrated onto the platform or may be joined as modular components to the platform.

LOW PROFILE STENT GRAFT AND DELIVERY SYSTEM

A tubular prosthetic device for implantation into a body lumen includes a first part including a tubular lumen and a second part including an attachment member. The second part is secured to the first part via various configurations, where the device is capable of being reduced to a diameter less than the diameter of traditional devices, for ease of use during implantation. Methods of using the device are also provided.

Molded multi-component goggle outrigger
11701259 · 2023-07-18 · ·

Manufacturing methods are described for a goggle having an outrigger system where each outrigger includes a first segment coupled to a second segment at a fixed joint. Portions of the first segment may interlock or join with complementary portions of the second segment, such as through interlocking shapes, a solid friction lock, or via co-molding. The joining portions of the first and second segments may include complementary shapes that interlock together to secure the first and second segments together. The second segment may be molded onto or around at least a portion of the first segment, or vice versa, to secure the first and second segments together.

An auxetic structure, a support structure, a method of preparing an auxetic structure, and use of a cellulosic material

According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an auxetic structure, comprising or consisting of cellulosic material, preferably comprising nanostructured or microstructured cellulose on at least one of its surfaces or consisting of nanostructured or microstructured cellulose and optionally other cellulosic material.

EQUIPMENT AND METHODS FOR REFRACTIVE SURGERY, PARTICULARLY FOR KERATOPLASTY

Equipment and methods for refractive surgery, including for keratoplasty. The invention describes equipment and methods for the production and implantation of a lamella of a tissue or material for the purpose of correcting a corneal geometry at maximum precision that is thus improved in relation to the prior art. The invention facilitates restoration of normal corneal geometry together with optical functionality of the cornea which is improved in relation to the prior art. A planning device, a treatment system and a planning method are designed to couple a device coordinate systems of the laser devices involved and characterization devices by application of registration and to uniquely register the supplied measurement data for generating the lamella to be implanted to the device coordinate systems by a specific, defined edge geometry of a blank from which the lamella is produced, and by the lamella, and by additional system and method aids.

Stent Assembly System and Stent Assembly Method

A stent assembly system and a stent assembly method are provided. The stent assembly system includes a stent and an assembly instrument; the assembly instrument is configured to assemble and deliver the stent, and includes a sheath core tube, an outer sheath tube, and an assembly part; the outer sheath tube slidably surrounds the sheath core tube in an axial direction; an accommodating cavity for accommodating the stent is formed between the inner wall of the outer sheath tube and the outer wall of the sheath core tube; the assembly part has a fixed end and a free end opposite to the fixed end, and the fixed end is connected to the sheath core tube; and when the stent is crimped radially on the sheath core tube, the free end is hooked to the stent to limit the stent.

Composite scaffold for the repair, reconstruction, and regeneration of soft tissues

A composite scaffold having a highly porous interior with increased surface area and void volume is surrounded by a flexible support structure that substantially maintains its three-dimensional shape under tension and provides mechanical reinforcement during repair or reconstruction of soft tissue while simultaneously facilitating regeneration of functional tissue.

Prosthesis Comprising a Three-Dimensional and Openworked Knit
20230218380 · 2023-07-13 ·

The present invention relates to a prosthesis (100) comprising an openworked three-dimensional knit (101) comprising a front face and a rear face, each face being formed with one or more laps of yarns defining pores on said face, the front face being bound to the rear face by connecting yarns defining a spacer, characterized in that the connecting yarns are distributed so that they define an entanglement of yarns crossing each other at the spacer, without obstructing the pores of the front and rear faces.

DEVICE TO AID PREPARATION OF GRAFT FOR DESCEMENT'S MEMBRANE ENDOTHELIAL KERATOPLASTY

A device that facilitates preparation of corneal grafts, including an illuminated base; and a corneal graft holder that can be selectively coupled to the illuminated base to illuminate a portion of donor cornea to facilitate preparation of the corneal graft.

Stented vascular graft

A vascular graft incorporating a stent into a portion of its length. While various materials may be used for the vascular graft, the graft is preferably an ePTFE graft. The stent is preferably a self-expanding stent, although it may alternatively be a balloon expandable stent. The vascular graft preferably has a continuous inner tubular liner that extends between the opposing ends of the graft and provides a continuous luminal surface for blood contact that is uninterrupted by seams or joints. The length portion of the graft that does not include the stent has a greater wall thickness than does the portion including the stent.
