The composition for forming an absorption-desorption sheet includes: a polymerizable first monomer or oligmer comprising an ionic hydrophilic group; a polymerizable second monomer or oligmer comprising a non-ionic hydrophilic group; and a deliquescent salt that has excellent absorption-desorption performance- and allows repeated use of the absorption-desorption sheet. In addition, the absorption-desorption sheet has antibacterial and deodorant performance, and thus, is able to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi in a humid environment.

DEHUMIDIFYING ELEMENT, DEHUMIDIFYING DEVICE INCLUDING DEHUMIDIFYING ELEMENT, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DEHUMIDIFYING ELEMENT

A dehumidifying element includes a plurality of sheets that have moisture adsorption and desorption properties and that are stacked on top of each another. At least some of the sheets each have an irregular shape. The sheets each contain a hygroscopic agent having properties of a re-moistening-type glue that exhibits adherence when adsorbing moisture and that solidifies when being dried. The sheets are bonded to each other by the hygroscopic agent.

Synthesis Process for Solid Carbon Capture Materials

A method for forming an amine-functionalized solid CO.sub.2 sorbent for carbon capture may include providing a support material and applying at least one cycle of molecular layer deposition (MLD) with an amine precursor onto the surface of the support material. An amine layer formed on the support material contains amine groups/amine-containing ligands to adsorb CO.sub.2 onto the support material in a low temperature operating window for adsorption and desorption without the loss of active sites.

CARBON DIOXIDE RECOVERY SYSTEM
20220387930 · 2022-12-08 ·

A carbon dioxide recovery system is configured to separate carbon dioxide from gas containing the carbon dioxide via an electrochemical reaction and includes an electrochemical cell including a working electrode and a counter electrode. The working electrode includes a CO.sub.2 adsorbent. The CO.sub.2 adsorbent is configured to, when a first voltage is applied between the working electrode and the counter electrode, take in electrons flowing from the counter electrode to the working electrode and adsorb the carbon dioxide by a Coulomb force of the electrons without bonding to the carbon dioxide by sharing an electron orbital with the carbon dioxide. The CO.sub.2 adsorbent is configured to, when a second voltage different from the first voltage is applied between the working electrode and the counter electrode, discharge the electrons from the working electrode to the counter electrode and desorb the carbon dioxide.
