PROCESS GAS SUCTION STRUCTURE AND EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS
A process gas suction structure for preventing a generation of products from a process gas due to a temperature drop is disclosed. The process gas suction structure includes a double tube structure, and a heating device configured to heat the double tube structure. The double tube structure includes a process-gas flow passage portion where the process gas flows, and a partition portion arranged outside of the process-gas flow passage portion.
DEVICE FOR TREATING SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESS EXHAUST GAS
Provided is an exhaust gas treatment apparatus that treats exhaust gas generated from semiconductor process and directed to a vacuum pump. Exhaust gas treatment apparatus includes a plasma generating unit for generating plasma, a reaction chamber in which perfluoride is decomposed by the plasma to generate a decomposition gas, and gas supplying unit for supplying the decomposition gas from the reaction chamber to a processing chamber in which the exhaust gas from the semiconductor process is introduced and treated exhaust gas is discharged to the vacuum pump. Decomposition gas reacts with the exhaust gas in the processing chamber to suppress generation of salt in solid state by a component of the exhaust gas.

PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCING LIGHT OLEFINS AND AROMATICS FROM A MIXED PLASTICS STREAM
Methods and systems for producing aromatics and light olefins from a mixed plastics stream are described. The method may include feeding a plastic feedstock to a dechlorination operation to melt the plastic feedstock to release HCl and generate a liquid plastic stream; feeding the liquid plastic stream to a pyrolysis reactor, the pyrolysis reactor to generate hydrocarbon vapors; feeding the hydrocarbon vapors to an acid gas removal reactor with a solid inorganic alkali salt disposed within the reaction vessel to remove residual HCl and sulfur-containing compounds from the hydrocarbon vapors to generate a plastic derived oil; and feeding the plastic derived oil to a fluid catalytic cracking reactor to generate a product stream comprising light olefins having a carbon number of C.sub.2-C.sub.4 and aromatics. The associated system for processing mixed plastics into aromatics and light olefins is also described.
LITHIUM EXTRACTION COMPOSITE FOR RECOVERY OF LITHIUM FROM BRINES, AND PROCESS OF USING SAID COMPOSITION
A lithium extraction composite comprising: (i) a porous support and (ii) particles of a lithium-selective sorbent material coated on at least one surface of the support, wherein the support has a planar membrane, fiber (or rod), or tubular shape. A method for extracting and recovering a lithium salt from an aqueous solution by use of the above-described composition is also described, the method comprising (a) flowing the aqueous source solution through a first zone or over a first surface of the lithium extraction composite to result in selective lithium intercalation in the lithium-selective sorbent material in the first zone or first surface; and (b) simultaneously recovering lithium salt extracted in step (a) from said lithium-selective sorbent material by flowing an aqueous stripping solution through a second zone or over a second surface of the lithium extraction composite in which lithium ions from the first zone or first surface diffuse.

WATER STABLE COPPER PADDLEWHEEL METAL ORGANIC FRAMEWORK (MOF) COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES USING THE MOFS
This invention relates to a Cu-BTC MOF which is water stable. The Cu-BTC MOF has been modified by substituting some of the BTC ligand (1,3,5, benzene tricarboxylic acid) with 5-aminoisophthalic acid (AIA). The resultant MOF retains at least 40% of its as synthesized surface area after exposure to liquid water at 60° C. for 6 hours. This is an unexpected result versus the MOF containing only the BTC ligand. This MOF can be used to abate contaminants such as ammonia in gas streams and especially air streams.
