FILTERING SYSTEM, PAINTING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A FILTERING SYSTEM
In order to provide a filter system for separating off contaminants from a stream of untreated gas that contains contaminants that is of simple construction and is operable efficiently, it is proposed that the filter system should include the following: a base construction through which the stream of untreated gas is guidable and which includes at least one filter module receptacle for receiving at least one filter module, and at least one filter module which is selectively arrangeable on and/or in the at least one filter module receptacle and/or removable therefrom, wherein the at least one filter module includes a plurality of filter element receptacles for receiving a plurality of mutually independent filter elements.
Recovery of adsorption capacity of beaded activated carbon using gas-phase organic solvents
Methods for desorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from beaded activated carbon (BAC) that is loaded with VOCs, during the VOC abatement process using the fluidized carbon bead system include transferring the loaded BAC in an adsorber to a desorber, where a stream of organic solvent passes over the BAC to dissolve at least a portion of the adsorbed VOCs into the organic solvent to regenerate BAC. The regenerated BAC is returned to the adsorber. The organic solvent containing dissolved VOCs may be transferred to a distiller to separate the organic solvents from the dissolved VOCs and may be reused as the organic solvent in the desorber.

Method and apparatus for treating exhaust gas
The present disclosure relates to a method for treating exhaust gas including a plasma reaction operation of reacting exhaust gas containing a volatile organic compound (VOC) with low-temperature plasma to generate exhaust gas containing a VOC-derived intermediate, and a combustion operation of combusting the exhaust gas containing the VOC-derived intermediate to produce carbon dioxide and water.
Paint mist removing apparatus and coating facility
A paint mist removing apparatus includes: a duct through which air containing paint mist passes; an element fit part provided at the duct, the element fit part being fitted with a filter element including a filter part configured to remove the paint mist and a filter case housing the filter part, the filter case having a case exit from which all air taken in from a case entrance of the filter case is caused to exit through the filter part; an frame-like projection projecting from an inner surface of the duct and abutting on an entire circumference of an opening edge of the case exit of the filter case; and a duct side-surface opening being open at a side surface of the duct and normally closed by a door member, the duct side-surface opening being open when the filter element is set in and out from the element fit part.
Biofilter for Biological Purification of a Waste Gas Stream Containing Impurities
The invention relates to a biofilter for biologically cleaning a waste gas stream containing contaminants, having at least one filter module through which the waste gas stream is to flow. The filter module has at least one filter layer containing an organic filter material, and the at least one filter layer being supported by at least one grating structure which is in particular oriented at least substantially horizontally. According to the invention, so that the biofilter can be operated cost-effectively, with low effort and with a high filtering efficiency over the longest possible period, the at least one grating structure formed by elongate grating elements which are arranged at least substantially crosswise and are in particular oriented at least substantially horizontally.
Filtering apparatus with at least one filter unit
A filtering apparatus having a housing with lateral, upstream and downstream walls, and a top plate disposed at a significant angle to incoming overspray air to accelerate and guide the particulate-laden air. The angle of the top plate directs the air upstream and away from the filters so the larger solids impact the top plate and wall and adhere, removing paint from the air. Larger solids too massive to turn while accelerating through an opening into an entry chamber collect on the upstream sidewall and the highly filtered air flows toward filter units disposed downstream of the entry opening. Lighter solids that flow downstream are removed by the filtration media. An overhang of the angled top plate reduces flow into the filter units of collected solids.
