Process for removing oxidisable gaseous compounds from a gas mixture by means of a platinum-containing oxidation catalyst
Process for catalytic oxidative removal of at least one oxidisable gaseous compound from a gas mixture comprising the at least one oxidisable gaseous compound as well as oxygen through the use of an oxidation catalyst, whereby the gas mixture is not a combustion flue gas, characterised in that the oxidation catalyst was produced through the use of at least one exothermic-decomposing platinum precursor.
PAINTING BOOTHS WITH OVERSPRAY REMOVAL SYSTEMS, METHODS FOR REMOVING THE OVERSPRAY, AND PLANTS
A painting booth may include: a painting chamber and/or an overspray removal unit. Paint may be sprayed in the painting chamber. The painting chamber may be crossed by an air flow for evacuation of overspray from the painting chamber. When exiting the chamber, the air flow may pass through the overspray removal unit in order to remove the overspray from the air flow. The overspray removal unit may include an incoherent mass of cleaning elements kept in a stirred condition, through which the air flow containing the overspray passes so as to release the overspray onto the cleaning elements. A method for removing overspray from air flow exiting a painting booth may include: passing the air flow through an incoherent mass of cleaning elements which are kept in a stirred condition, so as to release the overspray onto the cleaning elements of the incoherent mass.
METHOD AND REGENERATIVE SEPARATING APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING CONTAMINANTS FROM PROCESS EXHAUST AIR
In a method for separating organic solvents from solvent-containing process exhaust air, the process exhaust air is directed through a separation zone of a separating device, and the separating device is regenerated by passing a regeneration stream through a regeneration zone of the separating device. The regeneration stream passing through the separating device during regeneration is divided into a first partial stream having an impurity concentration less than a first predetermined limit, and a second partial stream having an impurity concentration equal or greater than a second predetermined limit, by means of a dividing means, wherein the second predetermined limit is equal to or greater than the first predetermined limit, to return the first partial stream generated during regeneration to the separating device and direct the second partial stream generated during regeneration to a cleaning device.
Desulfurization and denitration agent
A desulfurization and denitration agent which is a mixture of polyalcohol and/or polyglycol substances, polycarboxylic acid substances and alkaline substances heated to above 90 C. and yielding, after condensation and/or polymerization, macromolecular or high-polymer ethers and/or esters for use in removing sulfur dioxides and/or nitrogen oxides from gases.
COMPLEX MALODOR REMOVING EQUIPMENT
A complex malodor removing equipment includes: a neutralizing module which dissolves a portion of malodor-causing substances, in malodorous gas introduced from malodor-producing equipment, in liquid water and removes same, which includes an acidity neutralizing module that introduces an alkaline substance from outside and removes an acidic malodor-causing substance from the malodor-causing substances, and an alkaline neutralizing module that introduces an acidic substance from outside and removes an alkaline malodor-causing substance from the malodor-causing substances, and which connects the acidity neutralizing module and the alkaline neutralizing module; and a balancing module which dissolves the remainder of the malodor-causing substances, in the malodorous gas introduced from the neutralizing module, in water and removes same, which includes an oxidation balancing module that introduces an oxidizing agent from outside and balances the malodor-causing substances, and a reduction balancing module that introduces a reducing agent from outside and balances the malodor-causing substances.
Filtering system, painting system, and method for operating a filtering system
In order to provide a filter system for separating off contaminants from a stream of untreated gas that contains contaminants that is of simple construction and is operable efficiently, it is proposed that the filter system should include the following: a base construction through which the stream of untreated gas is guidable and which includes at least one filter module receptacle for receiving at least one filter module, and at least one filter module which is selectively arrangeable on and/or in the at least one filter module receptacle and/or removable therefrom, wherein the at least one filter module includes a plurality of filter element receptacles for receiving a plurality of mutually independent filter elements.
Flow Balance Control in Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Abatement Systems
A method of controlling an apparatus that removes specified substances from a process gaseous stream can control at least one fan and a rotary wheel that removes the specified substances. The method includes measuring a pressure difference of the process gaseous stream across upstream and downstream sides of the rotary wheel, comparing the measured pressure difference to a predetermined pressure range, and controlling the at least one fan to increase or decrease its speed if the measured pressure difference is outside of the predetermined pressure range so as to change the pressure difference so as to be within the predetermined pressure range.
Gas purification processing apparatus
A gas purification processing apparatus is described. The gas purification processing apparatus can control the generation of adsorption heat by an adsorbate substance in purification processing and thereby prevent desorption or ignition or the like of the adsorbate component by performing cooling processing on an adsorbent itself when needed. This advantageously ensures high adsorption efficiency with a simple and convenient configuration. During operation of the apparatus, gas is supplied from the source and purified by a purification part and then discharged as a purified gas. When the temperature of the purification part exceeds a predetermined temperature, a cooling medium is supplied from the cooling processing part to cool the purification part.
DESULFURIZATION AND DENITRATION AGENT
