The present disclosure relates to a carbon capture adapter that may attach to high air flow locations. A carbon capture adapter may utilize the air flow of a high air flow location to allow for capture of unfiltered air, allowing for carbon removal and the scrubbing of the unfiltered air. The carbon capture adapter may comprise carbon sensors that may detect carbon levels of the air before and after the carbon has been scrubbed or removed from the ambient air. The carbon capture adapter may capture and transform the carbon into secondary substances that may be useful unto itself. The carbon capture adapter will have all inputs, outputs, processes, and flows that meet all aspects of a closed loop system that is specifically designed for CCS. The carbon capture adapter may be at least temporarily secured to at least one portion of a vehicle.

Exhaust gas treatment system for an ammonia-containing exhaust gas

A method and exhaust gas treatment system for treating an ammonia-containing exhaust gas, for example a livestock house exhaust gas. The exhaust gas treatment system comprises a plurality of sorbent beds comprising a copper-doped small-pore zeolite, a valve system configured to establish independently for each sorbent bed fluid communication in a first or second configuration, wherein in the first configuration a flow of ammonia-containing exhaust gas contacts the sorbent bed at a temperature of less than 50 C. for storing the ammonia; and in the second configuration a flow of heated gas maintains the sorbent bed at a temperature of at least 300 C. for releasing and treating the ammonia in situ.

Methods for Absorbing a Targeted Compound from a Gas Stream for Subsequent Processing or Use
20250360456 · 2025-11-27 ·

The present invention describes methods for absorbing a targeted chemical compound from a gas stream into a scrubbing solution for various uses and with various benefits. Methods are described to produce a gas stream that can be further processed with operational benefits, such as through condensing and wastewater treatment with a lower load on the wastewater treatment system. Methods are described for adsorbing the targeted compound with reduced condensation of water from the gas stream. Methods are described for producing a liquid stream comprising an absorbed form of the targeted compound for use as a saleable product, such as adsorbing ammonia for the production of a fertilizer, wherein the concentration of the absorbed form may be increased through reduced condensation from the gas stream. Methods are described for producing a lower volume liquid waste stream from the absorption process through the use of reduced condensation of the gas stream.

REGENERATION OF METHANE OXIDATION CATALYSTS

Disclosed are methods for regenerating an at least partially deactivated methane oxidation catalyst comprising contacting the catalyst with a gas stream comprising carbon monoxide (CO) under conditions that are net lean of stoichiometry and at a temperature of about 125 C. to about 450 C. over a period of time. Also provided are methane oxidation catalysts that have been regenerated according to the disclosed methods, as well as methods of catalyzing methane oxidation.

MITIGATION OF GREENHOUSE GASES
20260091352 · 2026-04-02 ·

A method of reducing the greenhouse gas impact of livestock farming includes feeding a fuel gas comprising one or more hydrocarbons to an anode of a solid oxide fuel cell stack, withdrawing air, that includes methane originating from livestock, from a livestock housing or enclosure and feeding the withdrawn air to a cathode of the solid oxide fuel cell stack. The oxygen in the air is allowed exothermically to react with the one or more hydrocarbons in the fuel gas to form at the anode a heated first exhaust stream comprising water and carbon dioxide and at the cathode a heated second exhaust stream comprising methane, thereby generating an electrical current from the solid oxide fuel cell stack through an external electrical circuit. At least the heated second exhaust stream is fed to a combustor and combusted, producing a heated tail gas stream.
