METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A HUMIDITY CONTROL DEVICE AND HUMIDITY CONTROL DEVICE
A method of manufacturing a humidity control device including the steps of: a) providing an envelope in an open configuration; b) introducing in at least one part of the open envelope a given weight of a humidity control agent having a known moisture content lower than the moisture content corresponding to a targeted equilibrium relative humidity level (ERHi); c) introducing a given weight of water in the at least one part of the open envelope; and d) repeating steps b) and c) until a desired weight of hydrated humidity control agent is received in the at least one part of the open envelope.
HUMIDITY CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A humidity control device, configured to maintain the relative humidity in an enclosure within a given range by absorbing or releasing water vapor, includes an envelope and a humidity control agent arranged inside the envelope. The envelope is liquid water resistant and water vapor permeable. The humidity control agent includes a hydrated superabsorbent polymer having an adjusted moisture content selected to provide a targeted equilibrium relative humidity (ERHi) situated in the range of 45% RH to 90% RH in a sealed container.
Improved Process for the Manufacture of a Composite Porous Material
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a porous composite material for use in a gas/solid reaction system. The process includes combining at least one active ingredient, organic binder and an inorganic binder to form a mixture, adding water to form green pellets, partially drying and curing the pellets to form a composite material formed from cured pellets having a crushing strength of 4000 g/pellet-20000 g/pellet, suitable for use in a gas/solid reaction system.
Adsorbed natural gas storage facility
A natural gas storage facility for reducing effects of diurnal demand on a natural gas source is disclosed. The natural gas storage facility includes a guard bed system that has a heavy natural gas component storage capacity and that is operable to remove impurities from introduced natural gas, to selectively separate the introduced natural gas into a heavy natural gas component and a light natural gas component, to retain the heavy natural gas component and to release the heavy natural gas component and an adsorption bed system that fluidly couples to the guard bed system, that has a light natural gas component storage capacity, that contains a light natural gas adsorbent that is a microporous material, and that is operable to retain the light natural gas component using the light natural gas adsorbent and to release the light natural gas component from the light natural gas adsorbent.
SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTING GASEOUS MOLECULES FROM AIR
The invention relates to a system for separating and storing molecules, atoms and/or ions from air, wherein at least one air collecting means comprises at least one collecting tank configured to receive molecules, atoms and/or ions separated from air through an inlet and at least one membrane adapted to fit in the inlet of the collecting tank and configured to let a specified pre-determined size of molecules, atoms and/or ions to pass through the at least one membrane. The system further comprises at least one storing tank for storing the separated molecules, atoms and/or ions, and at least one outlet. The system according to the invention can be used to utilize the energy present in such molecules or separate unwanted gases present in the air.
COMPOSITION CONTAINING UREA FOR USE IN BRINE FORMATION
A composition for use in brine formation comprising a deliquescent desiccant, urea, and an optional component selected from the group consisting of starch, citric acid, clay, glucose, and a combination thereof. Methods of making and using the composition are provided. The composition may be pressed into tablet form. The composition may be used in a dehumidifying device.
ENCAPSULATED FRAGRANCE IN COMPRESSED TABLET
A tablet having a deliquescent desiccant and a fragrance encapsulated on or within a binding agent. The tablet is in a pressed form. A method of making a tablet involves providing a deliquescent desiccant, encapsulating a fragrance by spray drying the fragrance on a carbohydrate, combining the deliquescent desiccant and the carbohydrate encapsulated fragrance, and pressing the combination into the tablet.
Sealed container, thermal insulator, and gas adsorption device
A sealed container (1) includes at least an outer container (2) and a gas adsorption device (4) being provided in a sealed space (3) within the outer container (2) and being capable of adsorbing a gas. The gas adsorption device (4) includes at least a copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite and a primary material having a lower gas barrier property than the outer container (2) does.
OZONE SUPPLY DEVICE AND OZONE SUPPLY METHOD
This ozone supply device includes an ozone generator, an adsorption tower, a standby unit, a pressure reducing device, an ozone supply unit, a low-temperature coolant circulator, and a control unit which causes a generated ozonized gas to be adsorbed to a cooled adsorbent and desorbs the ozonized gas adsorbed to the adsorbent, thereby concentrating the ozonized gas, wherein the control unit performs control so that the pressure in the adsorption tower in a standby state where the ozonized gas desorbed from the adsorbent in the adsorption tower is caused to stand by in the standby unit becomes lower than the pressure in the adsorption tower in the adsorption.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING VERY HIGH PURITY HELIUM OR HYDROGEN
A method of purifying a gas composed of a product gas and one or more impurity gases including combining a feed stream with a second stream thereby forming a combined feed stream, introducing the combined feed stream into a pressure swing adsorption device, thereby producing a high purity product gas stream and an off-gas stream, and introducing the off-gas stream into a membrane separation device, thereby producing a gas stream lean in product gas and a permeate stream.
