AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM
20220184433 · 2022-06-16 · ·

An air treatment system includes a cyclone filter and an electrostatic filtration system. The cyclone filter may include a cyclone chamber, a cyclone chamber inlet configured to receive air including suspended particulates, and a cyclone chamber outlet configured to output treated air toward a respiratory interface, e.g., a mask or face shield. The cyclone filter produces a rotational airflow that removes at least some particulates from the air in the cyclone filter. The electrostatic filtration system is configured to charge the particulates in the cyclone chamber with a first polarity to produce an electrostatic attraction of the particulates to a particulate removal system charged with an opposite second polarity, to remove additional particulates from the cyclone filter. The air treatment system may also include an ultraviolet purification system to deliver ultraviolet radiation (e.g., UVC radiation) to kill, destroy or otherwise affect organic particulates in the air being treated.

Reduced-pressure medical systems and methods employing a moisture processing device

Systems, methods, and devices related to removing fluids from a patient are provided. In one instance, fluid is removed from the patient and delivered to a canister using reduced pressure. Reduced pressure is supplied to the canister via a reduced-pressure delivery conduit that includes a moisture processing device and a hydrophobic filter. The moisture processing device condenses moisture from the air to prevent condensation from occluding the hydrophobic filter. The moisture processing devices includes an expanded volume and one or more liquid-impermeable, vapor-permeable membranes. The liquid-impermeable, vapor-permeable membrane allows vapor to egress the moisture processing device. Other systems, methods, and devices are presented.

DEVICE FOR PROMOTING WOUND HEALING BY HIGH POLYMER LOW TEMPERATURE IONIZED GAS
20220176023 · 2022-06-09 ·

A device has a power source having a high voltage terminal and a low voltage terminal, an oil-free gas compressor, a first molecular sieve, multiple ionized gas generators, an outer metal pipe, an inner metal pipe, a dielectric insulating ceramic sheet, and a gas outlet pipe. The first molecular sieve is connected between the oil-free gas compressor and the ionized gas generators, and is capable of filtering out molecules in the gas except for oxygen. The outer metal pipe and the inner metal pipe are electrically connected to the low voltage terminal and the high voltage terminal respectively. The dielectric insulating ceramic sheet is mounted between the outer metal pipe and the inner metal pipe, and forms an ionizing space, which communicates with the ionizing space, with the outer metal pipe.

Portable oxygen concentration

The present disclosure describes a system and method for maintaining oxygen purity in portable oxygen concentrators, even with asymmetric generation of oxygen enriched gas volumes from different sieve beds of the concentration system. The present system and method compensate for asymmetric oxygen enriched gas generation using asymmetric delivery of purge volumes. Purge valves are used to deliver the asymmetric purge gas volumes, enables the system to maintain oxygen purity without additional power consumption, even when a portable oxygen concentrator does not include a product tank. The present system and method are configured such that asymmetry in enriched oxygen generation can be monitored and the asymmetric purge gas compensation can be applied independently from other control mechanisms of a portable oxygen concentrator.

Systems and Methods for Generating Nitric Oxide

Systems and methods for generating nitric oxide are disclosed. A nitic oxide (NO) generation system includes at least one pair of electrodes configured to generate a product gas containing NO from a flow of a reactant gas; and a controller configured to regulate the amount of nitric oxide in the product gas produced by the at least one pair of electrodes by utilizing duty cycle values of plasma pulses selected from a plurality of discrete duty cycles to produce a target rate of NO production based on an average of discrete production rates associated with each of the plurality of discrete duty cycles.

A fuel cell system 2 is provided with: a contaminated exhaust gas line for supplying a contaminated exhaust gas containing a contaminant discharged from a facility; and a contaminated exhaust gas purification part for purifying the contaminated exhaust gas supplied from the contaminated exhaust gas line by using heat of reaction of a fuel cell.

CONNECTED OXYGEN THERAPY SYSTEM FOR CHRONIC RESPIRATORY DISEASE MANAGEMENT

A method and system of responding to adverse environmental conditions local to a user of an oxygen concentrator is disclosed. Physiological data of the user is collected. Operational data of the oxygen concentrator is collected during operation of the oxygen concentrator. Environment data local to the oxygen concentrator is collected. Based on the collected environmental data, it is determined whether adverse environmental conditions exist local to the oxygen concentrator. The collected physiological, operational, and environmental data are analyzed to determine a responsive action to the determined adverse environmental conditions. The responsive action is communicated to the user.
