Apparatus, system and kit for rapidly moving a non-ambulatory person and/or object
An apparatus, system and kit for transporting a non-ambulatory person comprising: a sheet assembly for enclosing the non-ambulatory person. The sheet assembly having a generally rectangular shape with sides and ends, a base layer, an upper layer, one or more straps; and a plurality of rigid plates disposed between said base and upper layers functioning to protect the non-ambulatory person being transported by a rescuer(s) from impacts, as these may occur in carrying, dragging, or otherwise moving from one location to another. A kit be configured with a satchel with quantities of sheet assemblies, which also can be varied in different sizes, and placed in the satchel, a drag harness, securing straps, and additional trauma supplies as may be required in a rescue operation.
Lightweight human transport device
A compact, portable sled for transporting a person comprises a flexible panel, sheet portions and strapping. The flexible panel has head and foot portions, first and second sides, a sled length, and a sled width. The flexible panel is constructed of a wear resistant material for dragging over rough terrain. The sheet portions made of limp material that is less resistant to wear than the flexible panel. One sheet portion is attached to and extends laterally outward from the first side of the flexible panel. Another sheet portion is attached to and extends laterally outward from the second side of the flexible panel. The flexible panel and sheet portions are collapsible to a compact configuration and expandable from the compact configuration to a use configuration in which the person may be received on the sled for transporting. The strapping is used to secure the person in the sled.

Field stretcher with a detachable base
A field stretcher (102) comprising a patient carrying portion (104), a region thereof being operable to form a patient retaining pocket (150) for retaining the patient on the stretcher, in use and wherein the field stretcher further comprises attachment means operable to allow attachment of a detachable base plate. The invention also extends to a detachable base plate (202) comprising attachment means (270) operable to allow attachment of the base place to the field stretcher, a sheltering means and a field stretcher assembly (302) and field stretcher kit of such.
Multimodality Medical Procedure Mattress-Based Device
A mattress system is provided that is optimized for the hospital setting and includes a guiderail system that accepts a variety of accessories for attachment thereto. The guiderail system may have integrated data lines, power lines, gas lines, and/or fluid lines. Also provided are radioabsorbant shields, trays and other components designed for optimal use with the mattress system.
BODY BAG
A body bag includes an elongate base layer, an elongate top layer attached to the base layer to define an internal cavity, and an elongate flap provided in the top layer, wherein the flap is releasably securable to a fixed portion of the top layer. In addition, the base layer includes a low friction material disposed across at least a portion of an interiorly facing surface. Methods of manufacturing and using the body bag are also disclosed.
Patient support system with chest compression system and harness assembly with sensor system
A patient support system with chest compression system and harness assembly with sensor system. The harness assembly secures shoulders and hips of the patient on a patient support surface during transport. A chest compression system is integrated into the harness assembly in a manner that provides chest compressions to the patient while the patient is secured on the patient support surface. The tension of the harness assembly is selectively adjusted and/or a fluid bladder may be selectively expanded. A controller is in communication with the chest compression system and controls operation of the chest compression system. The sensor system is integrated into the harness assembly and in communication with the controller. The chest compression system may be removable from the harness assembly via an adapter. The chest compression system may be integrated into the patient support apparatus to secure the patient to the patient support surface while providing chest compressions.

Three-dimensional net-like structure
A three-dimensional net-like structure is provided that has a soft cushioning property and less variations of hardness and is less expensive. The three-dimensional net-like structure is made from a thermoplastic resin including a mixture of a polypropylene copolymer (a) and a polypropylene copolymer (b) and has a spring structure formed by bonding continuous filaments partly in random in loops. The polypropylene copolymer (a) has a flexural modulus that is different from a flexural modulus of the polypropylene copolymer (b).
Rescue stretcher with integrated harness
A stretcher including a flexible base panel sized to support a person lying thereon during a rescue or extrication operation. The base panel includes a header end and an opposite footer end, and further includes a support mat resting on the base panel between the header and footer ends. The stretcher further include a shoulder harness with a pair of shoulder straps and a groin harness with leg straps fixedly coupled to the support mat for securing the person to the base panel. A securement strap may be coupled to the base panel and extend across the flexible base panel to help prevent the injured person from rolling off the sides of the stretcher. The rescue stretcher may further include one or more flotation devices attached thereto to facilitate water evacuations.
