A sieve bed assembly for an oxygen concentration device is disclosed. The oxygen concentration device including a compressor compressing air. The sieve bed assembly includes a canister including an intake for connection to the compressor. A block of adsorbent material produces oxygen enriched air from the compressed air from the compressor in a swing adsorption process. An outlet is provided for drawing the produced oxygen enriched air.
Face mask arrangement, system containing it and use thereof for administration
The invention relates to a face mask arrangement for alternately administering a gas I containing nitrous oxide and a gas II devoid of nitrous oxide to a patient, comprising a face mask, two inlet flow lines I and II for gas I and a gas II, respectively, which flow lines end in a breathing interface, and an outlet flow line for evacuation of exhaled gas. The two inlet flow lines merge into a common inlet part. Each of the inlet flow lines I and II comprises an inlet valve I and II, each of which is capable of opening in response to inhalation and of closing in response to exhalation. The arrangement comprises a switching means enabling switching between inhalation through inlet flow line I and inlet flow line II depending on the patient's immediate need of gas I or gas II. The invention relates also to a system comprises the face mask arrangement and an apparatus for collecting inhalation air from patients inhaling gas containing nitrous oxide and to the use of the face mask arrangement for administration of nitrous oxide to a patient via inhalation and collecting nitrous oxide from exhaled air of a patient during the administration.
Respirator without breathing resistance
The present invention relates to a respirator without breathing resistance, which has an air inlet duct that passes through an inside and an outside of the respirator and that has asymmetrical electrodes and particle capturing plates formed on an inner surface of the air inlet duct; ozone removing element that removes ozone generated by micro-plasma; and high voltage dc-dc converter that provides high voltage to the asymmetrical electrodes. It employs asymmetrical electrodes and particle capturing plates to filter air without generating breathing resistance. When the respirator according to the present invention is used, safety of a wearer may be maintained in accordance with an environment and breathing may be smoothly performed even while introduction of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, fine dust, or the like included in air may be effectively blocked. Accordingly, the respirator may be widely utilized to maintain the safety of the wearer in various environments.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING A RESPIRATORY DISORDER
Method(s) and apparatus provide a controlled release of enriched gas such as the gas produced by an oxygen concentrator (100) using adaptive triggering. Release of a bolus may be responsive to a generated trigger signal. The trigger signal may be generated by an evaluation of a trigger threshold. The trigger threshold may be derived from or calculated from a pressure signal, such as an adjusted pressure signal, from a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor may be pneumatically coupled with an airway of a user such that the pressure signal may be representative of airway pressure, or changes in airway pressure, attributable to the user. The trigger signal may be generated from a comparison between the pressure signal and the trigger threshold. The trigger threshold may be derived with an activity signal, such as one computed from the pressure signal, so as to adapt trigging sensitivity.
Air purifier apparatus
The invention relates to a modular, portable, air purifier device capable of supplying filtered or otherwise conditioned airflow to an individual. More specifically, the present invention provides an air purification system that allows for the remote detection and analysis of local ambient air quality and transmit that information to wirelessly connected devices.
CONFIGURABLE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR AND RELATED METHOD
A configurable oxygen concentrator for providing various flow rates and volumes of concentrated oxygen to a patient includes an electro-mechanical assembly having a housing with a first face, a second face and an outer surface. The oxygen concentrator also includes a first battery, a second battery, a first adsorbent container and a second adsorbent container. The first and second batteries are removably mountable to the first face and the first and second adsorbent containers are removably mountable to the second face to permit modification of the concentrated oxygen capacity and operating life of the concentrator as the patient progresses through different stages of a breathing disease. The first battery has a first battery capacity that is less than a second battery capacity of the second battery. The first adsorbent container has a first adsorbent capacity that is less than a second adsorbent capacity of the second adsorbent container.
Anti-Haze Anti-Harmful Gas Air Filter Membrane as Well as Preparation Method and Application Thereof
The disclosure discloses an anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The air filter membrane comprises a nano fiber membrane made of nano fibers and having a two-dimensional or three-dimensional network structure. The nano fiber membrane can be a high-molecular polymer nano fiber membrane prepared by utilizing an electrostatic spinning process, and can also be doped with an organic or inorganic additive capable of adsorbing and absorbing harmful gases, such as VOCs, NO.sub.x, SO.sub.x and NH.sub.3, in the air and/or a photocatalyst capable of degrading these harmful gases in a photocatalysis manner, or the like. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane disclosed by the disclosure can efficiently filter PM2.5 and PM10 particulate pollutants and the like in the air and simultaneously can efficiently identify and clear multiple harmful gases in the air. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane has a wide application prospect in the field of air purification, for example, can be applied to air purification devices, such as screen windows, gauze masks and filter screens.
