The present invention provides a method for removing an organic solvent from starch hemostatic microspheres, comprising the following steps: 1. taking to-be-dried starch hemostatic microspheres and laying them flatly on drying trays with attention to laying them as uniformly and thinly as possible; 2. taking an adsorbent and subpackaging it into dialyzing paper bags for sealing; and 3. placing the trays and the dialyzing paper bags completed in the previous two steps on separators of a low-temperature vacuum oven in layers, setting the oven temperature at 0-20° C., then vacuumizing and keeping pressure for 15-48 hours. The method provided by the present invention can reduce organic solvent residue in the starch hemostatic microspheres to less than 0.05%, which meets the requirements of relevant standards for medical devices, thereby improving safety of products.

Ultra rapid cycle portable oxygen concentrator

Lightweight, portable oxygen concentrators that operate using an ultra rapid, sub one second, adsorption cycle based on advanced molecular sieve materials are disclosed. The amount of sieve material utilized is a fraction of that used in conventional portable devices. This dramatically reduces the volume, weight, and cost of the device. Innovations in valve configuration, moisture control, case and battery design, and replaceable sieve module are described. Patients with breathing disorders and others requiring medical oxygen are provided with a long lasting, low cost alternative to existing portable oxygen supply devices.

AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM
20220184433 · 2022-06-16 · ·

An air treatment system includes a cyclone filter and an electrostatic filtration system. The cyclone filter may include a cyclone chamber, a cyclone chamber inlet configured to receive air including suspended particulates, and a cyclone chamber outlet configured to output treated air toward a respiratory interface, e.g., a mask or face shield. The cyclone filter produces a rotational airflow that removes at least some particulates from the air in the cyclone filter. The electrostatic filtration system is configured to charge the particulates in the cyclone chamber with a first polarity to produce an electrostatic attraction of the particulates to a particulate removal system charged with an opposite second polarity, to remove additional particulates from the cyclone filter. The air treatment system may also include an ultraviolet purification system to deliver ultraviolet radiation (e.g., UVC radiation) to kill, destroy or otherwise affect organic particulates in the air being treated.

Portable oxygen concentration

The present disclosure describes a system and method for maintaining oxygen purity in portable oxygen concentrators, even with asymmetric generation of oxygen enriched gas volumes from different sieve beds of the concentration system. The present system and method compensate for asymmetric oxygen enriched gas generation using asymmetric delivery of purge volumes. Purge valves are used to deliver the asymmetric purge gas volumes, enables the system to maintain oxygen purity without additional power consumption, even when a portable oxygen concentrator does not include a product tank. The present system and method are configured such that asymmetry in enriched oxygen generation can be monitored and the asymmetric purge gas compensation can be applied independently from other control mechanisms of a portable oxygen concentrator.

Anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane as well as preparation method and application thereof

The disclosure discloses an anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The air filter membrane comprises a nano fiber membrane made of nano fibers and having a two-dimensional or three-dimensional network structure. The nano fiber membrane can be a high-molecular polymer nano fiber membrane prepared by utilizing an electrostatic spinning process, and can also be doped with an organic or inorganic additive capable of adsorbing and absorbing harmful gases, such as VOCs, NO.sub.x, SO.sub.x and NH.sub.3, in the air and/or a photocatalyst capable of degrading these harmful gases in a photocatalysis manner, or the like. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane disclosed by the disclosure can efficiently filter PM2.5 and PM10 particulate pollutants and the like in the air and simultaneously can efficiently identify and clear multiple harmful gases in the air. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane has a wide application prospect in the field of air purification, for example, can be applied to air purification devices, such as screen windows, gauze masks and filter screens.

FILTER FOR SANITIZING AIR IN INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS
20230263929 · 2023-08-24 · ·

The filter according to the present invention is based on the combined action of two materials: tungsten trioxide (WO3), used for implementing the photocatalytic reactor, and a solution of copper (Cu) nanocluster. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, these materials are applied to suitable supports (filters), one of a mesh/grid made of metal (or other material, e.g. plastics material) for the photocatalyst and the other of fabric made of cotton (or other hydrophilic material), for sanitizing the fluids by way of the use of said supports in systems for air treatment (devices which take the air from the environment and/or from the exterior, filter it, and reemit it after passage through the filtration system in question) and/or water filtration.

The present invention has high efficiency and is a significant innovation, including on the basis of the efficacy tests performed in the present period of health emergency, including on the infective virus COVID-19.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR OPERATING AN OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR

Oxygen concentrator methods and apparatus estimate sieve bed effective capacity. Estimation applies function(s) to a parameter of a measured pressure-time characteristic of the bed, characteristic of a phase of an adsorption cycle of the concentrator at a predetermined motor speed of its compression system. Estimation may involve operating the concentrator at a predetermined bed pressure and measuring a mass flow of gas entering or exiting the bed, and may use the measured mass flow and one or more functions. Estimation may involve a measured bed exhaust mass flow for a purge phase when bed pressure is regulated to maintain a predetermined target pressure using motor speed adjustment. The estimation may apply exhaust mass flow function(s) to the measured exhaust mass flow. Estimation of the effective capacity may involve applying motor speed function(s) to measured motor speed, such as an adjusted one for regulating canister pressure to achieve a target pressure.
