Positive airway pressure system with integrated oxygen
A device and a system that delivers continuous positive airway pressure in conjunction with oxygen delivery is disclosed. The system is portable so that patients may be mobile and conveniently travel. Several means are disclosed for integrating oxygen production into a positive airway pressure (PAP) device, including oxygen production machinery entirely integrated into the PAP housing, oxygen production machinery that mates with a PAP device but which may operate independently, and where portions of the oxygen production machinery are located in the PAP housing and other portions (for example, the compressor) are located in a separate module, such as, for example, an AC-to-DC power conversion module.
Natural gas adsorptive separation system and method
A natural gas adsorptive separation system and method is described. A method of separating natural gas includes directing a natural gas mixture through an activated carbon adsorption tower until the adsorption tower is saturated, collecting methane from the output of the adsorption tower, heating the saturated carbon adsorption tower with adsorbate using a heater and/or a vacuum pump in a closed loop circuit with the carbon adsorption tower until the input to the vacuum pump is within a specified temperature of the output of the heater, lowering the pressure in the heated activated carbon adsorption tower using the vacuum pump to desorb at least one hydrocarbon compound of the plurality of different hydrocarbon compounds, compressing and cooling the desorbed hydrocarbon compound, separating the cooled and compressed hydrocarbon compound into gas and liquid in a fluid separator, and collecting the liquid from the fluid separator.
SURGICAL SMOKE TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR POLAR AND NONPOLAR GASES
A surgical treatment system for contaminated air streams having particulate contamination, polar contamination and/or nonpolar contamination in the gas or vapor stream. A surgical smoke plume treatment system and method provide or define a multi-stage treatment process that mechanically filters the air stream, followed by nonpolar decontamination and then polar decontamination or treatment. The system may be used stand alone or incorporated and used with other surgical instruments or incorporated into an air handler adapted to decontaminate an air stream. A desiccant may optionally be used to remove water from the air stream.
System and Method for Concentrating Gas
Embodiments of gas concentrating systems and methods are provided. These systems and methods comprise configuration of hardware and software components to monitor various sensors associated the systems and methods of concentrating gas as described herein. These hardware and software components are further configured to utilize information obtained from sensors throughout the system to perform certain data analysis tasks. Through analysis, the system may, for example, calculate a time to failure for one or more system components, generate alarms to warn a user of pending component failure, modify system settings to improve functionality in differing environmental conditions, modify system operation to conserve energy, and/or determine optimal setting configurations based on sensor feedback.
MODULAR CO2 SEQUESTRATION UNITS AND SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME
Shippable modular units configured for use in sequestering CO.sub.2 are provided. Aspects of the units include a support having one or more of: a CO.sub.2 gas/liquid contactor subunit, a carbonate production subunit and an alkali enrichment subunit; associated therewith. Also provided are systems made up of one or more such modular units, and methods for using the units/systems in CO.sub.2 sequestration protocols.
REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE FOR OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
A removable gas separation cartridge includes a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a bed of adsorbent material. The cartridge is removable from an oxygen concentrator which separates oxygen from ambient air by using an absorption process.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CO2 CAPTURE FROM A FLEET OF CO2 PRODUCING ASSETS
The invention relates to a system and method for CO.sub.2 capture. The system includes a fleet of CO.sub.2 producing assets comprising a fleet of assets having at least two individual assets that produce CO.sub.2 containing gas streams, and a set of modular CO.sub.2 capture units to capture the CO.sub.2 from the CO.sub.2 containing gas streams produced by the fleet of assets, wherein at least one of the individual assets is equipped with not less than two modular CO.sub.2 capture units, and at least one of the modular CO.sub.2 capture units is operated at more than one of the assets during the service life of the modular CO.sub.2 capture unit. The method for CO.sub.2 capture includes providing the fleet of assets and equipping them with a set of modular CO.sub.2 capture units. Advantage over current approaches is performance is optimized across a fleet of assets rather than at an individual site.
MULTI-UNIT COMPRESSED AIR DRYING SYSTEM
A compressed air drying system is provided for removing moisture from compressed air. The system includes multiple air dryers that each remove moisture from a portion of the compressed air. The air dryers share a reservoir of liquid coolant that is used to cool the compressed air in each of the drying units. The reservoir has inlets for each of the drying units for the liquid coolant to return from the respective unit to the reservoir. The inlets are arranged in the reservoir to mix the incoming liquid coolant from the inlets to ensure that warm coolant from one of the inlets does not flow directly to an outlet of the reservoir.
