Air Dryer Cartridge

An air dryer cartridge, in particular for a compressed air treatment system of a commercial vehicle, includes a cartridge housing having a closed housing cover, an inner housing arranged in the cartridge housing, a desiccant accommodated in a space between the cartridge housing and the inner housing, a filter arrangement arranged inside the cartridge housing and positioned in the compressed air stream upstream of the desiccant in relation to normal operation of the air dryer cartridge, and a bypass for bypassing the filter device. A non-return valve, which blocks a compressed air stream in the direction towards the desiccant and allows a compressed air stream in the direction away from the desiccant, is arranged in the bypass. The non-return valve is formed in one piece together with the inner housing.

REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE FOR OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR

A removable gas separation cartridge includes a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a bed of adsorbent material. The cartridge is removable from an oxygen concentrator which separates oxygen from ambient air by using an absorption process.

Oxygen concentrator apparatus and method having flow restricted coupling of the canisters

An oxygen concentrator may rely on a pressure swing adsorption process to produce an oxygen enriched gas stream from canisters filled with granules capable of separation of oxygen from an air stream. The adsorption process uses a cyclical pressurization and venting of the canisters to generate an oxygen enriched gas stream. The oxygen concentrator system may include one or more flow restrictors to allow controlled release of oxygen enriched gas between the canisters.

VENTILATOR APPARAUS AND SYSTEMS

Ventilator apparatus includes a pump (41) connected to supply pressurised air both to an air reservoir (23) and to an oxygen concentrator (70) that supplies pressurised oxygen to an oxygen reservoir (24). The outlet (50) of the air reservoir (23) is connected to the inlet of a breathing circuit (30) via an entrainment device (56) so that pressurised air from the reservoir entrains atmospheric air. The outlet (84) of the oxygen reservoir (24) is connected via oxygen tubing (99) to the patient end of the breathing circuit (30). A patient valve (90) at the patient end (93) of the breathing circuit (30) opens to allow the patient to exhale via openings (97) in the valve. The oxygen supply is switched to supply oxygen to the breathing circuit (30) during the expiratory phase so that oxygen in the circuit is inhaled during a subsequent inhalation phase.
