Mobile apparatus with an integrated stretcher apparatus for patients
A mobile apparatus with an integrated stretcher apparatus for patients has a base having rotatably mounted wheels on a bottom side for moving the base on the ground, a frame which is fastened to a top side of the base and which is open at least on one side, and a stretcher apparatus having segments which are mounted pivotably relative to one another, wherein the segments are configured for folding the stretcher apparatus into a first form, in which all the segments adjoin one another in a plane, and for folding said stretcher apparatus into a second form, in which the stretcher apparatus is packed down, and wherein the stretcher apparatus and the frame are configured to be complementary to one another such that the stretcher apparatus in the second form can be completely introduced into the frame.
APPARATUS FOR VICTIM EXTRICATION, TRANSPORT, AND METHOD OF USE
The present invention is directed to an apparatus and system for the insertion and extrication of a person, particularly a disabled person, to and from the water wherein the board allows for compact storage in a stowed configuration, rescue use in an extended configuration, and seated use in a seated configuration. The system further comprises a rolling frame to further enable access and allow a user to sit at a common seated height.
LITTER WITH CURVED FEET FOR EASY LOADING
A litter for carrying an injured person and method of making the same is provided. The litter comprises a pair of frame rails defining a middle space therebetween. A carrying structure is supported by the pair of frame rails in the middle space and defines a top surface and a bottom surface. The carrying structure is configured to support an injured person on the top surface. The litter further comprises at least one spreader bar disposed between the pair of frame rails. At least one foot defining a top and a bottom may be attached to a bottom side of either the at least one spreader bar or at least one of the pair of frame rails. The at least one foot defines a curved surface leading downwardly from the top to the bottom vertically away from the top surface of the carrying structure and horizontally towards the middle space.
Patient support apparatuses with navigation and guidance systems
Patient support apparatuses, such as beds, cots, stretchers, recliners, or the like, include control systems with one or more image, radar, and/or laser sensors to detect objects and determine if a likelihood of collision exists. If so, the control system controls the speed and steering of the patient support apparatus in order to reduce the likelihood of collision. The control system may be adapted to autonomously drive the patient support apparatus, to transmit a message to a remote device indicating whether it is occupied by a patient or not, and/or to transmit its route to the remote device. The remote device may determine an estimate of a time of arrival of the patient support apparatus at a particular destination and/or determine a distance of the patient support apparatus from the particular destination.

Chest Compression System Retainer With Tethers For Use With A Patient Transport Apparatus
A patient care system for treating a patient is provided. The patient care system includes a patient transport apparatus, a chest compression system configured to provide automatic chest compressions to a patient, and a retainer for securing the chest compression system to the patient transport apparatus. The patient transport apparatus includes a base, an intermediate frame arranged for movement relative to the base, and a patient support deck which defines a patient support surface. The chest compression system includes a driver having a driver body movably supporting a plunger, and a driver frame to support the driver adjacent to the chest of the patient. The retainer includes a collar releasably engageable with the chest compression system, and a brace including a retainer mount and a tether. The brace is arranged to secure the chest compression system to the intermediate frame of the patient transport apparatus.

Convertible vehicle door emergency removal device
A convertible vehicle door emergency removal device comprising a pair of door members, a stretcher frame member and a pad member. The door members each include a first door member and a second door member and each door member is removably attached to a corresponding vehicle door frame for opening and closing. Each door member includes a pair of mating hinges for attachment to one another and a pair of strap handles for transporting a stretcher frame member. The stretcher frame member is formed by attaching the pair of door members to one another after each door member is removed from a corresponding door frame. The pair of door members are attached to one another by connecting the mating hinges to one another. The stretcher frame member is configured to receive an occupant for transporting. The pad member overlays a top surface of the stretcher frame member. Moreover, the pad member is inflatable and includes an inflatable cushion for providing cushion support to an injured region of the occupant.
