FILTER ELEMENT AND HOUSING HAVING NON-CIRCULAR CROSS-SECTIONS
A filter assembly comprises a filter element and a housing. The filter element comprises a filter media, and an alignment feature positioned on at least a portion of an outer surface of the filter media. The alignment feature comprises an alignment channel. The housing defines a housing internal volume. At least a portion of the filter element is positioned within the housing internal volume. The housing comprises an alignment protrusion extending axially from a housing inner surface towards the filter element so as to mate with the alignment channel. The alignment feature comprises a ring member positioned circumferentially around the filter media at a filter media first end proximate to the housing, and a filter baffle extending from the ring member. The filter baffle is circumferentially positioned on at least a portion of the outer surface of the filter media and defines the alignment channel.
UNDULATED INTERLOCKING HOUSING-ENDPLATE INTERFACE GEOMETRY
A filtration system having an undulated interlocking housing-endplate interface geometry is described. In the filtration system, a filter element endplate and a filter housing component (e.g., a shell housing, a filter mounting head, etc.) meet at an interface. The filter housing component includes an undulating or repeating pattern that meshes with a matching undulating or repeating pattern on the endplate of the filter element. The undulating or repeating pattern prevents the filter element from freely rotating with respect to the filter housing component of the filtration system.
Filter assemblies; components and features thereof; and, methods of use and assembly
Filter assemblies, components therefor, and features thereof are described. Also described are methods of assembly and use. In depicted examples, the air cleaner assemblies and components use advantageous housing seal features. Also, methods of assembly and use are described.
Filter cartridges; air cleaner assemblies; housings; features components; and, methods
Air cleaner assemblies, components, and features are described. The features can be used to provide that the air cleaner assembly includes a housing and cover within which a filter cartridge having a media pack and a seal arrangement surrounding the media pack can be installed. The air cleaner assembly may also include a projection-receiver arrangement in which the filter cartridge has at least one first member and the housing has at least one second member that interacts with the first member. In one example, a portion of the seal arrangement is coplanar with the first member and a portion that is below the first member such that the first member is located between the seal arrangement and an inlet end of the filter cartridge.
FILTER AND VACUUM FOOD PROCESSOR
Embodiments of present disclosure relates to a filter for use in a vacuum food processor and a vacuum food processor including the filter. The filter comprising: a first filter part adapted to direct a suction airflow generated by a vacuum module of the vacuum food processor into the filter via an inlet channel; and a second filter part adapted to coaxially fit with the first filter part and comprising a cavity, the cavity adapted to maintain non-gaseous substance that is moving along with the suction airflow inside the filter, wherein the first filter part and the second filter part jointly define an outlet channel at a bottom of first filter part, the outlet channel adapted to direct the suction airflow outside the filter. In this way, the food particles/bubbles can be prevented from entering the vacuum module, while the suction airflow is allowed to freely flow to the vacuum module.
Air Cleaner; Replaceable Filter Cartridges; and, Methods
The disclosure concerns air cleaners. Preferred air cleaners are shown which include a housing and a removable and replacement primary filter cartridge. Optional and advantageous features are shown. The preferred primary filter cartridge is conical in shape. A preferred optional safety or secondary filter cartridge is shown. Preferred methods of assembly and use are provided.
Assemblies; Components and Filter Features Thereof; and, Methods of Use and Assembly
Air cleaner assemblies, components therefor, and features thereof are described. Also described are methods of assembly and use. In depicted examples, the air cleaner assemblies and components optionally use advantageous housing seal features. Methods of assembly and use are described.
FILTER CARTRIDGE ARRANGEMENTS AND ASSEMBLIES; PREFERRED FEATURES; METHODS OF ASSEMBLY AND USE
The present disclosure relates to filter assemblies. The features described and characterized are typically applied in gas (for example, air) cleaner assemblies. A typical use is in air cleaner assemblies for vehicles or other equipment. The techniques described relate, at least in part, to provision of assemblies with preferred configurations for convenient servicing and operation, while ensuring a proper cartridge is appropriately positioned, oriented and secured for use. Many of the techniques relate to arrangements in which features at opposite ends of a housing and/or cartridge are eccentrically positioned as described.
AIR CLEANER ARRANGEMENT WITH END SUPPORT FOR CARTRIDGE; COMPONENTS; AND, METHODS
An air cleaner assembly is described and shown which includes a housing having an air flow inlet, an air flow outlet and a housing body and access cover. A serviceable filter cartridge is positioned within the housing. A projection/receiver arrangement providing for engagement between the cartridge and the housing is provided. The projection/receiver arrangement can be configured in a manner that inhibits undesired motion of the cartridge, once installed. An example projection/receiver arrangement is provided, which includes a serpentine receiving groove on the access cover and a serpentine projection on the filter cartridge. Example filter cartridge features are described.
Air cleaner arrangements; components; and, methods
An air cleaner assembly and components therefor are provided. Features are described providing for installation of a preferred filter cartridge in a housing. A filter cartridge arrangement is described and shown. Methods of assembly and use are also described.
