Inlet air filter arrangement, inlet air filter cartridge, and equipment for supporting inlet air filter cartridges for a gas turbine or a combustion turbine
An inlet air filter arrangement for a gas turbine or a combustion turbine includes a housing with an inlet side and an outlet side separated by a planar tubesheet including multiple tubesheet openings. Each multiple cylindrical filter cartridge includes a symmetry axis, an open end, and a closed end. A connection assembly for each of the multiple cylindrical filter cartridges seals the open end of the cylindrical filter cartridge to the tubesheet around one of the tubesheet openings. The connection assembly includes a mainly cylindrical guide sleeve including a symmetry axis, a shell with a cylindrical external surface, an inner end attached around the tubesheet opening and an outer end at the inlet side of the housing. The shell is provided with at least two slots extending mainly helically from the outer end towards the inner end. A collar attaches to the open end of the cylindrical filter cartridge.
END CAP FOR FILTER ELEMENT
An end cap for a filter element may include an element receiver configured to be coupled to a tubular member, and a base passage receiver in flow communication with the element receiver. The end cap may further include an end cap barrier extending outward from the base passage receiver, the end cap barrier including a first side configured to face a filter base. The end cap may also include end cap flow passages configured to provide flow communication between filter media and a filter base, and including a passage opening spaced a first distance from the first side. The end cap may further include a barrier edge and a peripheral seal, wherein an uppermost surface of the peripheral seal terminates a second distance from the first side of the end cap barrier, wherein the first distance is greater than the second distance.
Air cleaner replaceable filter cartridges; and, methods
An air cleaner assembly, a main filter element, a safety element, combinations and methods for servicing an air cleaner assembly are provided according to the present invention. The air cleaner assembly includes an air cleaner housing and a main filter element. The air cleaner housing includes a safety liner that supports the main filter element, and can be configured to help reduce the tendency of the main filter element to rotate during use of the air cleaner assembly. A safety element having two open ends, for use with such an assembly is described.
Sealing arrangement for apparatus for filtering, and methods, and products for filtering
A device for filtering a gas stream, having a vessel partitioned into a first stage and a second stage, with an opening between stages. A filter element is positioned in the opening, with ends of the filter element extending into the first and second stages. The first member is removable from the second member while the filter element is positioned in the opening, to allow for replacement with a new clean member.
FILTER ASSEMBLY
Filter assemblies comprising filter cartridges having a first coupling member including at least one lug having an outer diameter, and a support comprising a second coupling member having at least one channel for receiving the lug, the channel having corresponding channel walls, a terminal section including a closed end and a horizontal axis, and an angled section having an open end, the terminal section including a lug retaining section having a cross-sectional area less than the outer diameter of the lug, methods of coupling the cartridges to the supports, and methods of using the filter assemblies, are disclosed.
Fine filter part kit for a dust extractor and a method for removing a fine filter part
The present disclosure relates to fine filter part kit (63), comprising a replacement fine filter part (15) that is adapted to be mounted to a fine filter section (12) for a dust extractor (1). The fine filter part kit (63) further comprises a filter lid (16) that is adapted to be mounted to a corresponding used fine filter part (15) to be replaced, already mounted to the fine filter section (12), and thereby seal an opening (28) of a particle containing space inside the used fine filter part (15) before removing the used fine filter part (15). In this way, release of particles contained in the particle containing space into the ambient air is prevented and a secure disposal of the used fine filter part (15) is enabled.
FILTER SILENCER
A filter silencer is provided having a cartridge (12) formed with circumferentially directed outwardly projecting lugs (18) at its upper rim configured for forming a bayonet fit into slots (42) at a top rim (36) of a receiving cage (28) forming part of a housing for the filter. The housing may further comprise a bowl (46) having an upper rim formed with projecting lugs (48) configured for forming a bayonet fit into slots (44) at a bottom rim (40) of the receiving cage. If the cartridge and the bowl each have four lugs, the bowl can be fastened or removed at a quarter turn and the cartridge can also be installed into the cage or removed at a quarter turn.
FILTER ELEMENT FOR USE IN A FILTER AND FILTER HAVING A FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element, in particular a replaceable filter element, more particularly for separating particles and/or gases and/or liquids, in particular a filter cartridge for use in a filter, more particularly a compressed air filter, in particular as a component of a filter comprising multiple filtration stages, includes a substantially tubular body with an annular end face that faces a filter head, an underside, and a circumferential surface. Multiple, preferably four, retaining arms, running radially in relation to the central axis, are provided in the region of the end face and a toroidal filter-element sealing surface is provided on the end face, and the retaining arms protrude in relation to the filter-element sealing surface. The filter element is usable in a filter.
SECURE FILTER ELEMENT AND FILTER ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a filter element comprising a filter medium pack elongating along a longitudinal axis, a seal and a supporting structure supporting the seal. The seal comprises at least a first segment and a second segment adjoining the first segment, and wherein at least a portion of the second segment is axially separated from the first segment. The filter medium pack further comprises a coupling arrangement for engaging with a complementary coupling arrangement of the housing of the filter system, and wherein the supporting structure comprises a first circumferential radial surface and a second circumferential radial surface circumscribing the longitudinal axis, and wherein the coupling arrangement of the filter element is disposed on said first circumferential radial surface and wherein the seal is disposed on the second circumferential radial surface.
