ASSEMBLIES; COMPONENTS AND FILTER FEATURES THEREOF; AND, METHODS OF USE AND ASSEMBLY
An air cleaner assembly is disclosed, along with related methods. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly has a housing including a housing body and a removable cover that together define an interior volume for holding a filter cartridge. The housing can include a first part of a first connection arrangement. The air filter cartridge can include a second part of the first connection arrangement. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be secured together place the air filter cartridge in a latched position by moving the air filter cartridge in a first direction. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be disconnected from each other to place the air filter cartridge in an unlatched position by moving the air filter cartridge in the first direction. The air cleaner assembly can include a second connection arrangement securing the air filter cartridge to the housing cover such that the housing body and housing cover are secured together.
NON-CYLINDRICAL FILTER AND SIDE ENTRY AIR CLEANER INCORPORATING THE SAME
A filter element is provided that is preferably a side entry air filter having an air filter media pack, a housing seal and a frame that has a clamping projection, a pivot projection and/or guide members. The clamping projection can define a non-linear bearing surface that may be chevron shaped to provide for interface and potential alignment benefits. The housing seal may be a wave seal that undulates.
Filter Insert for Installation in a Liquid Separator, Liquid Separator, Method for Providing the Aforementioned Filter Insert as well as Use of the Filter Insert in a Liquid Separator
A filter insert to be installed in a housing of a liquid separator has a hollow cylindrical separation element in the form of a coalescer for separating a liquid from a gas flow. A flange at an end face of the hollow cylindrical separation element can be arranged exchangeably between a cover and a cylindrical body of the housing. The flange has a support surface at a radially outer rim of the flange to be supported on an upper support region of the housing facing the cover of the housing. The flange has a guide structure determining a position of the flange on the upper support region of the housing. The guide structure is to receive a counter structure of the liquid separator. The guide structure has an axial elevation projecting away from the end face of the separation element. A liquid separator is provided with such a filter insert.
EMERGENCY ESCAPE KIT
An emergency escape kit is disclosed. The emergency escape kit includes: an emergency escape punch having an obstacle contact portion configured to be in close contact with an obstacle such as a glass window, and configured to shatter the obstacle by pressurizing a side thereof opposite to the obstacle contact portion located between the obstacle and the side of the emergency escape punch; and a gas mask configured to be couplable to or separable from the emergency escape punch, wherein when the gas mask is coupled to the emergency escape punch, the gas mask shields a portion of the emergency escape punch from an outside of the emergency escape punch, and when gas mask is separated from the emergency escape punch and is brought into close contact with respiratory organ of a user, the gas mask prevents external poisonous gas from flowing into the respiratory organ of the user.
FILTER RACK FOR BLOWER COIL UNITS
Method and apparatus are disclosed for filter racks for blower coil units. An example filter rack for a blower coil unit includes a frame. The frame includes a rear frame structure, a front frame structure coupled to and spaced apart from the rear frame structure to define a slot that is configured to house a filter for filtering air flowing from a blow coil unit, and a side extending between the front frame structure and the rear frame structure. The side defines a first opening to the slot to enable the filter to be inserted into and removed from the slot. The example filter rack also includes a magnet fixed along the side and a panel configured to couple to the side via the magnet. The panel securely encloses the filter within the slot when coupled to the side and provides access to the slot when decoupled from the side.
HVAC RETURN FLITER HOLDER
This present invention relates to a unique HVAC air filter holder designed to prevent or reduce air from escaping or otherwise bypassing the HVAC air filter. The HVAC air filter holder comprises a filter securing device, and is a material that is compressible, moldable, expansible or the like such that it can be secured around the perimeter of the air filter.
Filter systems; components; features; and, methods of assembly and use
Filter assemblies are described and shown. Components, features and methods of assembly and use are described. Many of the principles relate to preferred cartridge configurations for engagement with selected housings. Selected optional features described can be used to provide indication to a service provider that a proper cartridge is not positioned appropriately in the housing for use.
Filter Fixing Device and Air Conditioning Unit Using the Same
The present application provides a filter fixing device, comprising: a lock mounting piece, a hold-down piece, a push rod and at least one connecting rod. The lock mounting piece is provided with a lock used for engaging the lock receiving part on the filter fixing frame; the hold-down piece and the lock mounting piece are connected to each other in such a way that they can move relative to each other in a first direction, and the hold-down piece is used to hold down the filter; the push rod is connected to the hold-down piece and can pivotally rotate around an axis; at least one connecting rod is pivotally connected to the push rod and the lock mounting piece; the filter fixing device is configured in such a way that the rotation of the push rod relative to the hold-down piece may cause relative motion of the hold-down piece and the lock mounting piece in the first direction. The filter fixing device provided by the present application has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and can firmly hold the filter so that it is possible to easily replace the filter while meeting the requirement on the filtering performance of the air conditioning unit.
AIR FILTER SYSTEM, AIR FILTER ELEMENT FOR USE IN SAME, AND METHOD FOR SERVICING SAME
The present disclosure is directed towards filter elements whose overall length can be adjusted such that the filter element can be installed through an opening in an air cleaner opening having a relatively smaller dimension than the maximum dimension of the filter element. In one aspect, the filter element can include a radial seal member disposed on a positionable coupling element circumscribing at least a portion of a filter medium pack. The filter element has a first axial length when the positionable coupling element is in an extended position and has a second axial length when the positionable coupling element is in a collapsed position, wherein the first axial length is greater than the second axial length. In some examples, the filter element includes two positionable coupling elements.
