Battery management for patient support apparatuses
A patient support apparatus, such as a bed, recliner, cot, stretcher, operating table, or the like, includes battery-powered circuitry whose functions are reduced, but not eliminated, as the battery charge level falls below a threshold. Electrical power may be cut off to one or more components of the battery-powered circuitry while still providing battery-supplied electrical power to the other components of the circuitry. A user interface provides battery status data, including a replacement status of a rechargeable battery, and allows a user to select different formats for displaying battery status data. Such formats include displays of battery charge level information not only in manners specific to the battery, but also in manners relative to the patient support apparatus, such as displays of how many, or how much of, one or more functions the patient support apparatus is able to perform based on the battery's current charge level.
Device configured to transport a human body
A device includes a main frame; at least one wheel; and supports. The supports are arranged in a support frame movably connected to the main frame. The support frame comprises a seat sub frame and a leg sub frame. The seat sub frame or the leg sub frame is fixedly hinged to the main frame, and the other is displaceably hinged to the main frame. A transformation mechanism associated with the main frame can convert the device between a planar support state and an angled support state. Supports enclose an angle to define a seat and backing support. The leg sub frame is extended beyond its hinge relative to the main frame and comprises a set of wheels at the free end of the extended leg sub frame. The extended leg sub frame provides a sturdy wheel base in the angled support state to define a wheel chair mode.
Patient Transport Apparatus With Movable End Handle System
A patient transport apparatus including a patient litter and a litter support apparatus for supporting the patient litter from a ground surface. The litter support apparatus includes a litter support frame including a pair of litter supports spaced a distance apart to define a loading gap for receiving the patient litter therethrough. A handle system is coupled to the pair of litter supports and includes a handle assembly that is positionable between a closed configuration and an open configuration. The handle assembly extends across the loading gap defined between the pair of litter supports in the closed configuration and is positioned away from the loading gap in the open configuration.
Patient Support Apparatus Deployment Mechanisms
A patient support apparatus includes a litter that includes a support structure articulable between seated and supine configurations. The support structure includes a seat section and a leg section coupled to the seat section and articulable relative to the seat section around a seat axis between first and second angular positions corresponding to the seated and supine configurations, respectively. The apparatus includes a steerable wheel assembly coupled to and rotatable relative to the leg section around a steering axis, and a wheel system including a deployment frame coupled to and rotatable relative to the leg section around a pivot axis and a wheel coupled to and rotatable relative to the deployment frame around a wheel axis parallel to the seat axis. The apparatus includes a wheel deployment mechanism configured to rotate the deployment frame around the pivot axis when the leg section articulates between the first and second angular positions.

TRANSFORMABLE ELECTRIC VEHICLE
The invention relates to the technical field of electric vehicles, and discloses a transformable electric vehicle. The transformable electric vehicle comprises a chassis, a rear wheel group, a front wheel group located in front of the rear wheel group, transverse retraction rods which can contract or stretch and are arranged transversely, and longitudinal retraction rods which can contract or stretch and are arranged longitudinally; rails are arranged on the lower end face of the chassis, and extend in the length direction of the chassis; one end of the transverse retraction rods is movably connected with the rails, and the other end of the transverse retraction rods is attached to the rear wheel group, the lower ends of the longitudinal retraction rods are fixed to the rear wheel group, and the upper ends of the longitudinal retraction rods are movably connected with the rails; a cushion unit and sliding rails are arranged on the upper end face of the chassis, and the lower end of the cushion unit is attached; the upper end of the cushion unit is movably connected with the sliding rails, and the cushion unit comprises a seat plate for drivers to sit; and when the upper end of the cushion unit is located at the lower parts of the sliding rails, the seat plate is arranged horizontally. The form of the electric vehicle can be switched among different modes according to the requirements of a driver, so that different requirements are met, and the driving experience and safety of the driver are improved.
