Inside-out rotating coalescer with gas exit through hollow shaft
Various example embodiments relate to rotating coalescers. One embodiment includes a housing comprising a first housing section having a blowby gas inlet structured to receive crankcase blowby gases from a crankcase. The housing further comprises an oil outlet. The rotating coalescer includes an endcap and filter media. The filter media is arranged in a cylindrical shape and is coupled to and positioned between the first housing section and endcap. The filter media is structured to filter the crankcase blowby gases passing through the filter media by coalescing and separating oils and aerosols contained in the crankcase blowby gases. The rotating coalescer includes a hollow shaft extending through the housing and positioned radially inside of the filter media. The hollow shaft forms a blowby gas outlet structured to route filtered crankcase blowby gases out of the housing. The rotating coalescer further includes a drive mechanism operatively coupled to the hollow shaft.
FILTER CARTRIDGE FOR A FILTER ASSEMBLY, FILTER ASSEMBLY AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCE WITH A FILTER ASSEMBLY
There is described a filter assembly (2) comprising a filter housing (15) and a removable filter cartridge (16) arranged and/or arrangeable within the filter housing (15). The filter assembly (2) comprises an expelling device configured to exert an expelling force onto the filter cartridge (16) when being arranged within the filter housing (15) for at least partially directing the filter cartridge (16) out of the filter housing (15) and a control device controllable into a locking configuration for blocking the filter cartridge (16) within the filter housing (15) and/or for counter-acting against the expelling force and an unlocking configuration for allowing the expelling force to at least partially expel the filter cartridge (16) from the filter housing (15). The control device comprises at least a first interaction element (20) and a second interaction element (21) interacting and/or being configured to interact with one another with the control device being controlled into the locking configuration. The first interaction element (20) and the second interaction element (21) are configured such that the interaction between the first interaction element (20) and the second interaction element (21) is interrupted and/or released with the control device being controlled into the unlocking configuration and the filter cartridge (16) is provided with the first interaction element (20) and the filter housing (15) is provided with the second interaction element (21).
FILTRATION ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A FILTERING CARTRIDGE AND AN AUXILIARY DEVICE
A filtration assembly for a vehicle fluid extends along an axis and includes a filtering cartridge and an auxiliary device. Cartridge members and device members are configurable in engagement and disengagement configurations. The cartridge members are positioned on an end plate of the filtering cartridge and include blocking groups, each having a stem and a tooth positioned at a stem end projecting laterally defining, with the stem, an engagement undercut. The device members include a housing region and a lug. In the engagement configuration, the tooth snap-fits in the respective housing region, and the lug is housed in the undercut. The cartridge and device members include a cartridge and device edges to engage in rotary disengagement, in which the cartridge edge and the device edge identifies a ramp. In engagement between the cartridge and device edges, the blocking group elastically flexes radially so the tooth leaves the housing region.
ASSEMBLIES; COMPONENTS AND FILTER FEATURES THEREOF; AND, METHODS OF USE AND ASSEMBLY
An air cleaner assembly is disclosed, along with related methods. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly has a housing including a housing body and a removable cover that together define an interior volume for holding a filter cartridge. The housing can include a first part of a first connection arrangement. The air filter cartridge can include a second part of the first connection arrangement. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be secured together place the air filter cartridge in a latched position by moving the air filter cartridge in a first direction. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be disconnected from each other to place the air filter cartridge in an unlatched position by moving the air filter cartridge in the first direction. The air cleaner assembly can include a second connection arrangement securing the air filter cartridge to the housing cover such that the housing body and housing cover are secured together.
Fuel filter cartridge with keyed profile
A filtration system comprises a filter head assembly comprising an outlet slot, valve element, and latch element. The valve element is in fluid communication with the outlet slot and includes an open position and a closed position. In the open position fluid flow travels through the outlet slot. In the closed position fluid flow is prevented through the outlet slot. The latch element is configured to lock the valve element in the closed position. The filtration further comprises a filter cartridge structured to engage the filter head assembly. The filter cartridge comprises a first and second filter end. The filter cartridge comprises filter media and a keyed element disposed on the first filter end. The keyed element is structured for engagement of the latch element, wherein the engagement unlocks the valve element causing the valve element to be in the open position.
FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A filter housing for containing a cartridge assembly having a filter cartridge secured to a filter cover, the filter housing has a peripheral wall extending around a longitudinal axis, and end wall secured to the peripheral wall, the filter housing defining a cavity partially enclosed by the peripheral wall and the end wall, the peripheral wall defining a cartridge-receiving section extending from the end wall along the longitudinal axis and sized for receiving the filter cartridge and a cover-receiving section extending along the longitudinal axis from the cartridge-receiving section to an open end of the filter housing opposed to the end wall and sized for receiving the filter cover, a portion of the cover-receiving section recessed radially outwardly from the cartridge-receiving section relative to the longitudinal axis, a lubricant outlet of the filter housing extending through the portion of the cover-receiving section of the peripheral wall.
AIR FILTER AND INDOOR UNIT OF AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An air filter includes a frame portion including an outer frame and an inner frame, the outer frame being a frame body forming an outer contour and formed with an opening, the inner frame being provided within the outer frame and configured to partition the opening of the outer frame into a grid shape, and a filter portion provided on the frame portion to cover sections surrounded by the outer frame and the inner frame, the filter portion being configured to adsorb dust, wherein one side of the frame portion is totally flat.
