GAS FILTER SEPARATOR FILTER CARTRIDGE WITH KEYS AND/OR BAFFLE
A filter system comprises a pressure vessel housing with internal components designed to remove solid particles, semi-solid particles, and liquid droplets from a gas phase media. The filter housing utilizes multiple replaceable filter cartridges. The system includes a keyed filter coalescer cartridge designed to flow from the inside open area of the cartridge to the outside annular area of the housing prior to leaving the system through an outlet nozzle. The key is designed to locate a baffle of the filter cartridge inlet side end cap in a certain orientation as to provide enhanced liquid removal performance for the system. The baffle may also serve as a handle.
Fastening module and filter system
A fastening module for connecting a filter system to an arched connecting surface with openings for a fluid has a connecting housing connectable in fluid communication to the filter system. Rigid individual channel pieces are arranged in the connecting housing and channels extend in the channel pieces. The channels correspond with the openings in the arched connecting surface. The channel pieces have connecting flanges to be connected to the openings in the arched connecting surface. The channel pieces are connected by flexible connecting regions with each other; with the connecting housing; or with each other and with the connecting housing. The fastening module is connected in fluid communication to the inlet region or outlet region of the filter system. A filter module for the filter system has substantially free intake across its cross section and enables an intake manifold-type distribution of a volume flow passing through the filter element.
Filtration device having a latch mechanism
A filtration device may include a filter element and a housing that is configured to receive the filter element. The filter element may include a casing having a first outer surface and a flange connected to the first outer surface. The flange may include a plurality of snap members. A snap member, of the plurality of snap members, may include a fulcrum projecting from the flange and a lever mounted on the fulcrum. The housing may include a shell having a second outer surface and a plurality of ramp members. The plurality of ramp members may be fixedly connected to the second outer surface and may be configured to engage the plurality of snap members of the filter element. A ramp member, of the plurality of ramp members, may include an angled surface that extends from the second outer surface at an acute angle relative to the second outer surface.
DUCT MOUNTED FILTERING APPARATUS
A filter support for mounting an air cleaning device includes an access panel, at least one support member extending from the access panel, and a latch mounted to the access panel. The latch is operable to selectively couple to the air cleaning device.
FILTER HEADER POCKET CHANNEL FRAME
The pocket channel frame provides a means for attaching the distal ends of a pocket frame without the need of any tools. The pocket channel frame is formed from a longitudinal member having an elongated “C” shaped cross section. One end comprises is a flared out female end with a rectangular slot or 5 hole in it. The opposing distal end of the longitudinal having a C shaped cross section is swaged down into a projecting male end including a lance punched in the web. When the male end is swaged, an edge is created in the transition area from male to female which acts as a stop means for cooperatively engaging the female receiving distal end and sets the length of a short side of the pocket channel frame. During assembly, the lance snaps into the hole cooperatively engaging the slot on the 10 female side preventing the channel frame from coming back apart.
FILTER WITH A FILTER ELEMENT
A filter comprising a filter housing (10) and a replaceable filter element (12) arranged in the filter housing (10) and having annular upper and lower end members (12a, 12b) and an inner space, wherein the filter housing (10) comprises a housing pot (10a) having a fluid in-let (10e), a fluid outlet and an opening (10b) for inserting the filter element (12). The filter has a support tube (16) extending in the inner space of the filter element (12) and connected to a bottom of the filter housing (10) and a locking member (14), the locking member (14) being adapted to engage the support tube (16) and generate a holding or pushing or pulling force supported on the filter housing via the support tube (16) for holding or pushing or pulling the filter element (12) into or out of the housing bowl (10a).
COMPRESSOR SYSTEM AND FILTER HOUSING
A compressor system includes a compression module having an inlet for receiving air; and a filter housing in fluid communication with the compression module. The filter housing is constructed to house a filter, the filter having a sealing feature disposed at a first end of the filter and having an engagement feature disposed at a second end of the filter opposite the first end. The filter housing includes a trap door constructed to contact the engagement feature, and constructed to drive the engagement feature in a direction parallel to an axis of the filter toward the sealing feature and urge the sealing feature into sealing engagement with the filter housing.
AN AIR FILTER ELEMENT
An air filter element inlcudes a first end and a second end located opposite to the first end in relation to a longitudinal direction of the air filter element. The air filter element is configured for axial insertion into a filter housing with the first end leading the axial insertion. The air filter element inlcudes a gripping structure at the second end, the gripping structure comprising an external surface accessible for interaction by a tool to facilitate removal of the air filter element from the filter housing. The gripping structure is also configured to, during insertion of the air filter element into the filter housing, radially align the air filter element in the filter housing.
Filter housing of a filter for a fluid and filter
