Filter assembly for gas turbine engine

A filter assembly for an engine, has: a housing having a longitudinal axis and defining an internal volume, the housing having an open end; and a cartridge assembly receivable within the internal volume via the open end of the housing and securable to the housing, the cartridge assembly including a filter cartridge, a cover removably secured to the filter cartridge, and a sealing member between the cover and the filter cartridge, a locking engagement between the cover and the filter cartridge to limit an axial movement of the cover relative to the filter cartridge upon removal of the cartridge assembly from the housing.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN AIRBOX

Methods and systems are provided for an airbox. In one example, the airbox is a single piece comprising features to receive and retain a platform for an air filter. The airbox comprises curved elastomers which engage with coupling elements of the platform.

Snap in place natural gas filter

A filter that is retained in a shell housing by the use of a snap connection. The filter includes an endplate having snap features that interact with a groove in an inner portion of the shell housing. The groove may extend 360 degrees around an inner circumference of the shell housing. Accordingly, when the shell is unthreaded from the head service (e.g., during a filter replacement service), the shell only needs to be displaced the length of the inner radial seal interface between the shell and the head, not the entire length of the filter media thereby minimizing the stroke length needed to service the filter assembly.

WALL-MOUNTED AIR PURIFIER

The present application provides a wall-mounted air purifier, including a casing, a filter, and a fan mounted in the casing. The casing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet. The air outlet is located at a position corresponding to an outlet of the fan, the filter is located between the air inlet and the fan, and the casing is provided with a socket for plugging and unplugging the filter, the filter can be detachably inserted into the casing through the socket. In the wall-mounted air purifier provided in this application, a socket is provided on the casing, so that the filter can be plugged into and unplugged from the socket, which is convenient for replacing.

Filter securing mechanism and attachment method

A securing mechanism and a method for securing a filter element within a housing may be implemented in a pocket-type or cartridge-type filter assembly. The securing mechanism includes a mating frame having a retaining portion extending into the filter element within the housing for retaining the filter element within the housing, and a mounting portion mounted to the housing. The securing mechanism includes a semi-rigid member having opposite ends that are each secured to the mounting portion of the mating frame and a flexible portion between the opposite ends that is flexibly moveable to constrain the semi-rigid member at the opposite ends. The semi-rigid member is pressed against the mating frame to hold the filter element in place when the semi-rigid member is constrained.

AIR FILTER FOR COMPRESSED AIR

A filter for compressed air systems is provided. The filter includes a filter housing with a filter therein between an air inlet and an air outlet. Compressed air flowing between the air inlet and the air outlet passes through the filter housing and the filter element. A base is removably fastened to the filter housing which may be separated from the filter housing to allow the filter element to be removed and replaced.

Dust collector and filtering assembly

A dust collector includes a filter frame, a cartridge filter, an end cap, and a cover. The filter frame is provided with a center column. The end cap is provided with a bottom plate, a plurality of sliding slots, a plurality of first side walls, a plurality of baffles extending from the first side walls, and a plurality of clamping members. The cover is provided with a plurality of protruding members and a plurality of extending members. The filter frame includes an accommodating space. The bottom plate is provided with a plurality of through openings that run through the bottom plate. The through openings are disposed opposite to the baffles and are configured to communicate between the sliding slots and the accommodating space. The extending members extend into the through openings. The first side walls are connected between the bottom plate and the baffles.

Filter System, Filter Element, and Use

A filter system is provided with a filter housing provided with a fluid inlet for introduction of a fluid into the filter housing. A fluid outlet for discharge of the fluid from the filter housing is provided. A filter element is removably received in the filter housing, wherein the filter element has a positioning and sealing section which positions and seals the filter element in relation to the filter housing. Elastically deformable snap elements connect the filter housing and the fluid outlet with form fit to each other. The positioning and sealing section rests radially at the elastically deformable snap elements. A filter element for such a filter system is provided.

MODULAR FILTER ELEMENT AND COUPLING

The invention relates to a ceramic modular filter element comprising a first elongate hollow body, a second elongate body and a sleeve for coupling the first elongate body to the second elongate body, wherein the first elongate hollow body comprises a frustoconical section, the second elongate hollow body is configured to receive the frustoconical section of the first elongate hollow body and the sleeve comprises projections for engaging with a surface of the first elongate hollow body and/or the second elongate hollow body.

Filter arrangement

A filter housing has a first housing part with a first rim section and a second housing part with a second rim section. The housing parts can be joined and separated from each other in axial mounting direction and define a housing interior for a filter element provided with a circumferentially extending sealing element. The first and second rim sections form a receiving area in which the sealing element is seal-tightly clamped radially between the first and second rim sections when the housing parts are joined in the mounted state. A snap connecting device axially braces the first and second housing parts relative to each other. The snap connecting device is formed integrally on the first and second housing parts such that a clamping force applied by the first and second rim sections on the sealing element in radial direction is decoupled from the snap connecting device.
