The present disclosure discloses a filter element paper component, including two frames, wherein the two frames are oppositely arranged and are not connected; filter element paper, wherein two ends of the filter element paper are fixedly connected to the corresponding frames respectively, and the two frames separately locate the two ends of the filter paper during mounting; and a separation strip, detachably connected between the two frames to form a complete hollow cavity. The filter paper is folded and arranged in the cavity. The separation strip is pulled to be respectively separated from the two frames, and the two frames arranged at the two ends of the filter element paper are separately pulled to unfold the filter element paper.

Present embodiments relate to an air filter adapter for use with open style engine air filters. More particularly, but without limitation, present embodiments relate to a filter adapter having a hydrocarbon trap positioned within the adapter.

A filter element configured to be mounted to tube sheet openings of different diameters is provided. The filter element includes a seal member that can accommodate tube sheet openings of different diameters. Methods of mounting a plurality of identical filter elements to tube sheets having different tube sheet opening diameters is provided.

A filter device for ambient air filtration has a blower housing with air inlet and air outlet. A device for generating an air flow is arranged in the blower housing and generates an air flow in operation from air inlet to air outlet. A flexible air conducting hose is provided with a first open end connected to the air outlet of the blower housing and with a second closed end. The flexible air conducting hose has openings arranged between first open end and second closed end. Filter elements are arranged in the openings, respectively. The filter elements separate a raw side inside the air conducting hose from a clean side downstream of the filter element. The air conducting hose is inflated in operation of the device by the air flow. The flexible air conducting hose has a reduced air permeability compared to the air permeability of the filter elements.

Provided is a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner includes: a driver; a suctioner configured to suck external air by the driver; a discharger configured to discharge the sucked air to the outside; and a filter including a first filter provided in a flow path between the suctioner and the discharger to separate dust from the sucked air and having a first surface, a second filter having a second surface surrounding an outer circumference of the first surface, and a joint configured to join the first surface and a seam contacting the second surface.

An air cleaner is provided. The air cleaner includes an air cleaner body and air cleaner cover that are coupled to each other to form an internal space for mounting a filter and that are clamped and separated through a cover clamp. The filter purifies air that is introduced through a duct inlet into air which is to be discharged through a hose outlet. A filter fixer is formed in the internal space to seat the filter and forms a filter holding force to block swaying of the filter. Additionally, a filter adapter is mounted into or detached from the internal space and is inserted into the internal space to form a filter fixing force for fixing the filter.

A gluing method of a filter cartridge includes: preparing a filter core and a filter frame; disposing them in a lower mold with the filter frame under the filter core; filling glue on top of the lower mold, extending the glue to a gluing segment of the filter frame and an outer surface of the filter core; pressing down an upper mold toward the lower mold to cut the glue into an inner glue segment and an outer glue segment. The inner glue segment is pressed in between the filter frame and the filter core, coated around the gluing segment to increase adhering area. Pressure from the upper mold enhances the adhering effect. The cutting removes surplus glue and the glue is formed into a desired shape, thus the method is quick, accurate and consistent.
