An oil separator is taught having the filter element with at least one pressure control valve controlling crankcase pressure and has a valve closing body that operates in conjunction with a valve seat. The sealing element having at least one radially sealing region that is configured to act in the direction of the radius of the annular filter element, and at least one axially sealing region that is configured to act in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the annular filter element.

Filtration systems having filter elements having an axial seal member with a variable cross-section are described. The variable cross-section is matched by the non-planar sealing surfaces of the housing and housing cover that receive the filter elements. The non-planar sealing surfaces of the housing and the housing cover prevent proper filtration system function when an unauthorized replacement filter element having a flat axial seal member is installed in the housing.

Air Filter Element Having a Circumferentially Protruding Clean Air Seal, Filter Housing and Air Filter

An air filter element for an air filter for an internal combustion engine is provided with a filter medium surrounding annularly a longitudinal axis of the air filter element. A first end disk is provided at a first end face of the air filter element, wherein the filter medium is embedded in the first end disk at the first end face. A clean air seal is configured to seal a raw side of the air filter against a clean side of the air filter. The clean air seal and the first end disk are embodied together as one piece. The clean air seal protrudes continuously radially past the filter medium. A filter housing for the air filter element is provided with a filter pot and a cover and has a clean air outlet and a raw air inlet arranged at a side wall of the filter pot.

FILTRATION SEALING SYSTEM

A filtration system comprising a housing defining a central compartment, an outlet and a housing sealing surface having a first non-planar surface. A cover is removably coupled to the housing. The cover defines an inlet and comprises a cover sealing surface having a second non-planar surface. The filtration system also includes a filter element comprising a filter media and a seal member. The filter element is removably received in the central compartment. The seal member comprising a complimentary non-planar sealing surface that matches the first non-planar surface and the second non-planar surface such that the seal member axially pinched between the housing and the cover by the housing sealing surface and the cover sealing surface to form a first seal between the seal member and the housing and a second seal between the seal member and the cover.

A dust extraction unit is disclosed including a first and a second air filter removable and mountable within the dust extraction unit and a body defining an air flow path which passes through the first and the second air filters when the first and the second air filters are mounted within the body of the dust extraction unit. The body of the dust extraction unit comprises a first portion operable to receive the first air filter and a second portion operable to receive the second air filter. The first and second portions are connected by a hinge so that the first portion is moveable between a first configuration in which the first and second portion define an air flow path though the dust extraction unit and a second configuration which provides access to the portion of the dust extraction unit operable to receive the second air filter.

Cover for a Filter System, Seal for a Cover, and Filter System Comprising a Cover

A cover for a filter system for filtering a fluid has a fluid channel arranged at an inner side of the cover. The cover has a rim and at least one opening arranged in the rim to allow the fluid to pass through, wherein the opening is connected in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The fluid channel is connected in fluid communication with the interior of a filter element of the filter system. A seal for the cover has a first sealing ring and a second sealing connected to each other by flanks. The filter system has a housing with a housing part that is closable by the cover. A filter element is exchangeably arranged in the housing, and the fluid channel of the cover is connected in fluid communication to the interior of the filter element.

Dust collector

A dust collector includes an enclosure and a tube sheet separating filter and clean air compartments. The tube sheet forms a filter opening and a filter is located within the filter compartment and includes a filter flange having an air outlet aligned with said filter opening. The flange includes first and second alignment structures located on a first lateral side of the flange. A clamping assembly includes first and second filter clamps that are movable between a sealing position for sealing the filter flange against the tube sheet, and a release position. The first filter clamp engages the first alignment structure when in the sealing position. The second filter clamp engages the second alignment structure when in the sealing position. The dust collector includes means for moving the filter clamps between the sealing position and the release position.

GAS LIQUID SEPARATION DEVICE

A gas-liquid separation device includes a housing assembly, a separation assembly, a bottom end plate, an exhaust pipe, and a seal. A separation chamber is defined in the housing assembly. A bottom of the housing assembly has a through-opening. The separation assembly performs gas-liquid separation on a gas-liquid mixture. The bottom end plate is located at a bottom of the separation assembly. A liquid reservoir is defined by the bottom end plate and receives a liquid separated by the separation assembly. The exhaust pipe has an exhaust channel and a liquid discharge channel. The exhaust pipe passes through the through-opening to allow a gas separated by the separation assembly to flow through the exhaust channel. A flow diversion cavity is defined between the exhaust pipe and the bottom end plate, and is in communication with an outlet of the liquid reservoir and an inlet of the liquid discharge channel.

Filter and filter cartridge

A filter cartridge for a filter for filtering a fluid is to be used downstream of a main filter cartridge in a filter and is provided with an inflow surface, an outflow surface, and a main flow direction extending from the inflow surface to the outflow surface. A filter body is provided that can be flowed through along the main flow direction. A filter cartridge frame supports the filter body. A seal is disposed on the filter cartridge frame and separates a filter interior of a filter into a clean side and a raw side. An adhesive connection is provided that connects the filter body and the filter cartridge frame to each other. In one configuration, the filter cartridge frame at an inflow side is provided with a grip area, wherein the grip area enables inflow of a fluid into the filter body via the grip area and manual removal of the filter cartridge.
