According to the present disclosure, air cleaner assemblies, components, features, and methods relating thereto, are described. These features, in part, relate to configuration of a preferred seal arrangement and seal surface of the cartridge. Particular arrangements are shown, in which: the filter cartridge includes a seal arrangement having a axial pinch seal surface with a projection/recess contour including at least one projection thereon; and, the cartridge includes a seal contour projection stabilizing portion at a location in perimeter alignment with the portion of the seal pinch arrangement including the first housing engagement projection. Additional features are included that relate to clean air separator section tubes of a precleaner arrangement secured to a cartridge. These features can be used in cartridges including features outlined above, or in alternative cartridges. Additional features of air cleaner arrangements and filter cartridges in accord with the above are described.

A filter candle is provided, comprising one or more filter elements shaped as hollow cylinders of porous material, the filter elements having substantially identical inner and outer diameters and are disposed coaxially with each other; a support element comprising a metal tube disposed within the filter element(s), said metal tube having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the filter element(s), said metal tube having a wall with a plurality of perforations; and at least two annular sealing disks having an outer diameter equal to or larger than that of the filter element(s) and an inner diameter smaller than that of the filter element(s), wherein first and second terminal sealing disks are disposed at opposite axial end faces of a single filter element or of a plurality of filter elements disposed in line,
wherein the filter elements are compressed between the first and second terminal sealing disks.

A sealing element (5) for a filter element (2) in a housing body (1) of a filtration system, preferably in a cross-flow filtration system. The sealing element (5) is one piece and is annular in shape and comprises one section for sealingly arranging the filter element (2) in the housing body (1) and one section for impact damping for the filter element (2)

A straight-through flow filter element is provided in which an L-shaped ring is spaced from one of the inlet and outlet flow faces. The seal member may extend therefrom in a cantilevered manner away from one of the flow faces. The spacing may be facilitated by way of spacer elements which may contact the flow face and thereby also support the flow face toward the outer perimeter.

The present disclosure provides one filter with multiple standing compression seals that work together to seal against the mating filter housing assembly. The first compression bead design enables the second bead to seal against the Housing surface for maximum sealing performance for preventing unfiltered fluid from passing through a filter housing assembly.

A filter assembly for an air filter includes a filter element and a sealing member. The filter element has a filter medium and includes an inflow side, an outflow side, and a filter axis extending therethrough from the inflow side to the outflow side. The sealing member surrounds a peripheral edge of the inflow side of the filter element. The sealing member includes an edge protecting portion and a sealing portion. The edge protecting portion includes a side portion extending in a first direction from the peripheral edge of the inflow side along a portion of a side of the filter element. The sealing portion depends from the edge protecting portion and extends axially farther than the side portion of the edge protecting portion in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The sealing portion is adapted to engage a housing of the air filter.

An air filter arrangement is disclosed. The air filter arrangement includes media comprising corrugated media secured to facing media and defining a media pack having opposite flow faces. Media pack arrangements including such media are described. Also described are filter cartridges including such media packs and air cleaners including the filter cartridges. Advantageous housing seal arrangements having a pinch seal member and forming a trough are described. Methods of assembly and use are also provided. Also, systems of use are described.

An air treatment system for an agricultural vehicle includes an air filtration apparatus having an air filter housing for receiving an air filter cartridge and downstream air processing apparatus fluidly connected with the air filter housing by a duct. The system can receive first and second type air filter cartridges having corresponding first and second outlet sealing configurations. The duct has inner and outer conduits that define an inner flow path and an outer flow path. A filter sealing arrangement of the duct can engage with either type of filter cartridge. This enables two different types of filter cartridge, which may be configured to provide different levels of filtration, to be selectively mounted to the system in the same housing. Air flow may be restricted to the inner flow path when one type of air filter cartridge is fitted.

An air cleaner assembly including a housing, a filter cartridge removably positioned within the inner opening of the housing, wherein the filter cartridge includes a media pack and a sealing member that includes a pinch seal portion spaced from an outer surface of the media pack and positionable within a housing channel of the housing when the filter cartridge is positioned within the inner opening of the housing, and a precleaner assembly positionable between the filter cartridge and the inlet end of the housing, wherein the precleaner includes a base member having a lower edge, and an access cover removably attachable to an inlet end of the housing, wherein the precleaner assembly is sealable within the air cleaner assembly by pressing the lower edge of the base member against a top surface of the sealing member.

A filter element is provided with a pleated structure of a filter material folded in a zigzag shape. A frame element is attached to the pleated structure and at least partially circumferentially extends around the pleated structure. The frame element is air-permeable and laterally projects away from the pleated structure. A frame device is attached to the frame element. The frame device is an injection-molded plastic part injection molded onto the frame element. In a method for producing the filter element, an air permeable frame element is attached to the pleated structure of a filter material folded in a zigzag shape so as to circumferentially extend at least partially around the pleated structure and project laterally. The frame device is injection molded onto the frame element in an injection molding process. A filter assembly is provided with a filter housing and the filter element is received in the filter housing.
