FLANGELESS AIR FILTER
An apparatus and method are provided for a flangeless air filter configured to be mounted onto a flat surface within an air intake system of an internal combustion engine. The flangeless air filter is comprised of a cone-shaped filter medium, retained between a base and a cap, that is fabricated to remove contaminants and particulate matter from an intake airstream. The base includes a pliable seal that forms an airtight connection between the flangeless air filter and the flat surface of the air intake system. A mounting bracket and fasteners may be used to attach the base to the flat surface, compressing the seal there between. In some embodiments, the mounting bracket may be incorporated into, and made a part of the base. A cap is disposed on a top of the flangeless air filter and configured to direct the intake airstream around the cap and toward the filter medium.
Air Cleaner; Replaceable Filter Cartridges; and, Methods
The disclosure concerns air cleaners. Preferred air cleaners are shown which include a housing and a removable and replacement primary filter cartridge. Optional and advantageous features are shown. The preferred primary filter cartridge is conical in shape. A preferred optional safety or secondary filter cartridge is shown. Preferred methods of assembly and use are provided.
Filter Device, in Particular for Gas Filtration
A filter device is provided with a filter housing and a filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter element is provided with an annular filter medium body that has an inflow side. The filter housing has a dirt collecting region in flow communication with the inflow side of the annular filter medium body. The dirt collecting region has an annular circumferentially extending configuration. A flow-tight separation element is arranged at or adjacent to the annular filter medium body. The dirt collecting region adjoins the flow-tight separation element. An inflow region is positioned at the inflow side of the annular filter medium body and immediately adjoins the dirt collecting region. The dirt collecting region has a radial extension relative to a longitudinal axis of the annular filter medium body, and the radial extension of the dirt collecting region is larger than a radial extension of the inflow region.
DRYER
A dryer is disclosed. The dryer comprises: a main body including an exhaust port; a first drying chamber disposed inside the main body such that hot air is supplied thereto; a second drying chamber disposed inside the main body such that hot air is supplied thereto; and an exhaust unit for guiding, to the exhaust port, air inside the first and second drying chambers, wherein the exhaust unit includes: a first exhaust path for connecting the first drying chamber and the exhaust port; a second exhaust path for connecting the second drying chamber and the first exhaust path; and a filter assembly separably coupled to the main body, and filtering the air passing through the first and second exhaust paths.

In one embodiment, a material sorting system comprises: a suction gripper assembly, the suction gripper comprising: a body assembly that includes: an internal airflow passage configured to communicate an airflow between an airflow application port positioned at a first end of the body assembly and a gripping port positioned at the opposing second end of the body assembly; a cup fitting attached to the gripping port; a suction cup secured to the cup fitting; an attachable filter inserted into the suction cup and fastened to the cup fitting; and a mounting assembly, wherein the mounting assembly includes one or more mounting points for pivotally attaching the suction gripper assembly to a sorting robot of the material sorting system.
CYCLONIC AIR TREATMENT MEMBER AND SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A surface cleaning apparatus comprising a first cyclonic cleaning stage having a first cyclone chamber and a first dirt collection chamber external to the first cyclone chamber. The first cyclone chamber has a cyclone first end, an opposed cyclone second end, a cyclone sidewall extending between the cyclone first end and the cyclone second end, a cyclone air inlet, a cyclone air outlet, a cyclone dirt outlet in communication with the first dirt collection chamber and a cyclone longitudinal axis extending from the cyclone first end to the cyclone second end. The dirt outlet comprises a plurality of apertures.
PARTICLE SEPARATOR FILTER WITH AN AXIALLY EXTENDING FLOW FACE
A two-stage separator system having a housing extending between a first end and a second end. The housing defines a housing inlet, a separator outlet towards the second end, and a filtration outlet on the first end. A filter assembly has a first sheet of filter media coupled to a second sheet of filter media mutually defining a plurality of flutes extending in an axial direction. The filter assembly defines an inlet flow face and an outlet flow face. The filter assembly is disposed in the housing and coupled to the housing about the filtration outlet such that the outlet flow face is in fluid communication with the filtration outlet. The inlet flow face of the filter assembly has an axial flow face length.
HOOD VENTILATION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a hood ventilation device for suctioning smoke, etc., which are produced when cooking food, with surrounding air and discharging them to the outside. The hood ventilation device includes at least: a hood; a stretchable tube connected at a first end to the hood and adjusting a distance between the hood and the grill; a filter box connected to a second end of the stretchable tube such that a bottom thereof communicates with the second end and having a spoiler to communicate with a top thereof; a filter member mounted in the filter box and capturing and removing oil of smoke flowing in the filter box through the stretchable tube; and a spring balancer mounted on the outer surface of an uppermost part of the stretchable tube, allowing the stretchable tube to move up and down, and fixing the stretchable tube at a predetermined height.

A hollow filter element, including: a filter medium for filtering a fluid; wherein the filter element is a conical-oval rounded filter element; wherein the filter medium circumferentially surrounds an interior flow space of the filter element, wherein the filter medium circumferentially encloses around an element axis such that filter medium at least in one direction radial to the element axis is smaller on a first of the end sides of the filter medium than on a second of the end sides of the filter medium; wherein the filter medium has a first end body arranged at least on the smaller end side; wherein the first end body has at least one leveling element in the at least one direction of the smaller extent with respect to the element axis in a radially outer segment with respect to the element axis.
