COUPLING SYSTEM OF SUPERCRITICAL CARBON DIOXIDE CYCLE POWER GENERATION AND LITHIUM EXTRACTION FROM BRINE
This disclosure provides a system for coupling supercritical carbon dioxide cycle power generation and lithium extraction from brine. The system comprises an absorption heat pump unit, a supercritical carbon dioxide cycle power generation unit, and a unit for extracting lithium from brine. This system organically couples the exothermic characteristics of the supercritical carbon dioxide cycle system with the endothermic characteristics of the lithium extraction from brine system, and the waste heat is recycled in a cascade as the heat source in the lithium extraction from brine system, thereby effectively reducing the total energy consumption of power generation and lithium extraction and reduce the total equipment investment of the system, and significantly improving the efficiency of adsorption and lithium precipitation in the lithium extraction from brine system.
Natural compound sweetener and preparation method therefor
Disclosed is a natural compound sweetener, comprising mogroside V, rebaudioside A, natural tea theanine and dietary fibre. The method for preparing the sweetener comprises the steps of: (1) dissolution, filtration, concentration and sterilization: dissolving the mogroside V, rebaudioside A, natural tea theanine and dietary fibre in water, filtering, concentrating in a vacuum, and sterilizing to obtain a sterilized solution; and (2) paste-collection, drying and granulation: carrying out paste-collection on the sterilized solution obtained in the step (1), vacuum drying the collected liquid paste, and drying and then granulating the dry powder to obtain the sweetener.

Water purification apparatus and a method for controlling at least one fluid property in a water purification apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a water purification apparatus that comprises a reverse osmosis device, RO-device, producing a purified water flow and to a corresponding method. The proposed method comprises detecting at least one fluid property of purified water in the purified water path and regulating a flow rate of water in the recirculation path to fulfill one or more predetermined criteria of the purified water in the purified water path, based on the at least one detected fluid property. The present disclosure also relates to a computer program and a computer program product implementing the method.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR FILTERING CELL CULTURE MEDIA
The present disclosure provides, in part, a receptacle for filtering a liquid. The receptacle comprises a plurality of hollow fibers extending the length of the receptacle and at least one solid absorbent material occupying a space between the plurality of hollow fibers. Each hollow fiber comprises at least one opening and a lumen defined by the walls thereof, allowing the liquid to flow through. The hollow fiber walls have a porosity profile selective to passage of waste materials contained in the liquid from the lumen to the solid absorbent material(s), thereby filtering the liquid. Also provided is a system as well as a method for filtering and recycling a cell culture medium.
METHOD FOR PURIFYING AN AQUEOUS HYDROGEN PEROXIDE SOLUTION
A process for the purification of an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution includes the following steps: (a) the treatment of an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution with at least one first reverse osmosis system, (b) the treatment of the obtained hydrogen peroxide solution with at least one first stabilizer, (c) the treatment of the obtained hydrogen peroxide solution with at least one purification mean selected from adsorption resins, ion exchange resins, and combinations thereof.
An aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution obtainable thereby is described. The use of the aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution in the manufacture of microelectronic components and semiconductors is also described.
Spray-Dried Tetrasaccharides
Disclosed is a method for the manufacture of a spray-dried powder consisting essentially of LNT and/or LNnT, the spray-dried powder, its use for the manufacture of nutritional compositions, and nutritional compositions containing the spray-dried powder.
Systems and methods for removing organic compounds from water used to generate steam
A system for producing steam includes a source of superheated water with superheated water output; a membrane filtration system in fluid communication with the superheated water output and including a membrane filter with a permeate side and an opposing retentate side. The membrane filter includes a separation membrane constructed to reject organic molecules. The system may be used for removing organic compounds, such as anti-corrosion agents or contaminants, from superheated water to produce steam. A method for producing steam includes directing a cross-flow of heated pressurized water including a first concentration of an organic compound across a membrane filter. The membrane filter includes a separation membrane constructed to reject the organic compound; and one or more support layers adjacent the separation membrane. A steam permeate including a second concentration of the organic compound is collected, where the second concentration is lower than the first.
HOUSEHOLD WATER PURIFIER
A household water purifier includes a main unit and a filter assembly arranged in the main unit. The filter assembly includes a composite filter core. The composite filter core includes a filter bottle and a filter element located in the filter bottle. The filter element is of a separated structure. In the household water purifier, the filter element is located in the filer bottle; during use, when the filter element needs to be replaced, the filter element can be directly taken out of the filter bottle for replacement; Furthermore, the filter element itself is of a split structure. It is no need to replace the filter element as a whole, just some failed components of the filter element need to be replaced, which further improves convenience of replacement and maintenance of the filter core of the water purifier, and saves maintenance and use costs of the water purifier.
