System for rinsing electrodialysis electrodes
A system for rinsing electrodialysis electrodes includes an anode input coupled to an anode of an electrodialysis (ED) system for receiving a first fluid from the anode. The first fluid is for removing ions from the anode. The system also includes an anode output coupled to the anode of the ED system for providing the first fluid to the anode. The system includes a cathode input coupled to a cathode of the ED system for receiving a second fluid from the cathode. The second fluid is for removing ions from the cathode of the ED system. The system also includes a cathode output coupled to the cathode of the ED system for providing the second fluid to the cathode. The system includes an air stripper for receiving the first and/or second fluid, and for removing oxygen and/or a chlorine gas from the first and/or second fluid.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system is provided, including a raw water tank connected to a water supply, a reverse osmosis unit arranged to produce purified water from water input from the raw water tank via a raw water supply line, at least one water treatment facility alongside the raw water supply line downstream of the raw water tank and upstream of the reverse osmosis unit, and a reuse water feedback line arranged to feed waste water and/or grey water collected from the reverse osmosis unit and/or the at least one water treatment facility back to the raw water tank for reuse. In a water treatment method in such a water treatment system, waste water and/or grey water collected from the reverse osmosis unit and/or the at least one water treatment facility is fed back to the raw water tank for reuse.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATING HIGH TEMPERATURE PRODUCED WATER
Produced water from a crude oil or natural gas production process is purified using a membrane purification system for petroleum production, agricultural, commercial and domestic uses. The produced water is pretreated to remove, at least, particulates and oil from the produced water. The minimally pretreated water is then purified in a membrane purification system, that is operated at conditions such that membrane scaling is reduced or prevented. In particular, the membrane purification system is operated to maintain the turbidity of clarified water feed to the system or intermediate aqueous streams that are cascading through the membrane purification system. Ensuring that the turbidity of the reject streams generated in the membrane system are useful in achieving long membrane operating life.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Separation processes using osmotically driven membrane systems are disclosed generally involving the extraction of solvent from a first solution to concentrate a solute by using a second concentrated solution to draw the solvent from the first solution across a semi-permeable membrane. Pre-treatment and post-treatment may also enhance the osmotically driven membrane processes.

COMBINATION MULTI-EFFECT DISTILLATION AND MULTI-STAGE FLASH EVAPORATION SYSTEM
The combination multi-effect distillation and multi-stage flash evaporation system integrates a multi-stage flash (MSF) evaporation system with a multi-effect distillation (MED) system such that the flashing temperature range of the MSF process is shifted upward on the temperature scale, while the MED distillation process operates in the lower temperature range. The multi-stage flash evaporation system includes a plurality of flash evaporation/condensation stages, such that the multi-stage flash evaporation system receives a volume of seawater or brine from an external source and produces distilled water. The multi-effect distillation system includes a plurality of condensation/evaporation effects, such that the multi-effect distillation system receives concentrated brine from the multi-stage flash desalination system and produces distilled water.
PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT
There is provided a process and system for treating produced water. The process combines a vacuum tank process, an adsorption-desorption process, a heat-exchanger process, a membrane distillation-crystallization process. Also, the process may involve membrane separation and column distillation processes. The process allows for some level of efficiency with regard to energy consumption and operational and maintenance costs.
