The transfer sheet comprises a permeable material having a plurality of sections and a plurality of layers of spacing materials. The plurality of first channels are configured to allow air flow in a first direction and to prevent airflow in a second direction that is different from the first direction. The plurality of second channels are configured to allow air flow in the second direction and to prevent airflow in the first direction. The humidifier comprises a stack of alternating first channels and second channels, and the first channels are configured to transfer liquid from air flowing in at least one of the first channels to air flowing in at least one of the second channels. The humidifier is suitable for use in fuel cell stack.

The finisher discs comprise at least one feed inlet, at least one retentate outlet, and one permeate outlet, wherein at least one membrane pocket stack which has a plurality of membrane pockets which are lined up beside one another and are mutually separated by seals and which are push-fitted onto a permeate tube is disposed in the container interior space. The permeate tube protrudes beyond the at least one permeate outlet of the finisher discs. The membrane module according to the invention is characterized in that the permeate tube and the permeate outlet of the finisher discs are aligned in an alternating manner by way of a key-and-groove connection.

CROSSFLOW FILTER DEVICE

A crossflow filter device for filtering a pressurised feed liquid is provided. The crossflow filter device comprises: a filter membrane; a flow channel for the pressurised feed liquid which extends in a path over a retentate surface of the membrane such that the direction of flow in the channel is tangential to the retentate surface, and a filtrate derived from the feed liquid passes through the membrane leaving retentate liquid in the flow channel; and a collection chamber for the filtrate formed on an opposite, filtrate surface of the membrane. The crossflow filter device further comprises a sealed housing having a retentate side and a filtrate side which enclose therebetween the flow channel, the filter membrane and the collection chamber. The crossflow filter device further comprises, flow channel guide walls provided at an inner surface of the retentate side of the housing. The guide walls are configured to form a fluid tight seal with the filter membrane, and thereby define the path of the flow channel over the retentate surface of the membrane.

The present disclosure relates to a membrane extraction apparatus for extracting a component from a first liquid. The apparatus may incorporate a housing comprised of first and second mating housing halves, with each housing half having an open faced channel formed therein such that the channels at least partially overlay one another when the two housing halves are secured together. A membrane filter is disposed between the two housing halves to overlay the open faced channels. The membrane filter extracts the component from the first liquid and transfers the component into the second liquid as the first and second liquids flow through the first and second housing halves.
