Filter-plate assembly with external flow areas and attached membranes
A cross flow filtration unit, which provides a planar, rigid filter plate for filtration of liquid media. The plate has a planar membrane, which is fluid tight bonded at its edges to the surface of a partly hollow supporting plate having exit openings, internal flow channels, and flow areas for a first liquid medium. The membrane is in fluid contact with said the liquid medium at its internal surface and being in fluid contact with a second liquid medium at its external surface.
Water treatment system
The disclosure relates to water treatment systems that may be used to remove impurities from water, particularly systems that inserted at the point of entry of a water supply into a building.
FLUID DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
There is disclosed a fluid distribution system for distributing fluid from a single source to a plurality of downstream receptacles. The system has a distribution manifold assembly with a single inlet and a plurality of outlets arrayed around a circumferential outer periphery. The outlets may be directed to the different receptacles which each have their own vent filter, or each receptacle connects back to the distribution manifold for common venting. The distribution manifold assembly may be formed by identical fluid and vent manifolds with cylindrical exteriors, or by identical fluid and vent manifolds surrounded by cylindrical frame members, to form a compact cylindrical combined assembly. Flexible conduits connect the manifold assembly to a plurality of receptacles, and a consumable subsystem of the manifold assembly, conduits and receptacle caps may be pre-assembled for ease of use.
DISTRIBUTOR ASSEMBLY, IN PARTICULAR FOR A SEPARATION UNIT OF A MODULAR PROCESS DEVICE ARRANGEMENT
A distributor assembly, which is provided in particular for a separation unit of a modular process device arrangement, including a fluid distributor device having a plurality of fluid ports, wherein the fluid distributor device can selectively establish and block fluid communications between the fluid ports. The distributor assembly further includes a connecting element and a retaining element. The connecting element is adapted to be attached to one of the fluid ports, and the distributor assembly includes an associated mounting slot at the fluid port. The mounting slot is adapted to the shape of the retaining element such that the retaining element can be inserted into the mounting slot up to a defined retaining position, in which the retaining element engages the connecting element and fixes it in place.

Integrated membrane module rack
Fluid treatment system comprising a row of vertically arranged cylindrical filtration modules having a cylindrical shell, an upper end, a lower end and a shell interior and an upper and a lower header coupled to upper and lower end of the shell. In the shell interior, hollow fiber membranes are embedded with their ends in an upper and a lower tube sheet and are open at the ends. An exterior filtrate space is formed around the membranes extending between upper and lower tube sheets and an inner surface of the shell. Upper and lower head spaces are formed between upper and lower tube sheets and the respective headers. The lumina of the hollow fiber membranes are in fluid communication with the head spaces. The cylindrical shells comprise outlet ports being in fluid communication with the exterior filtrate spaces and being connected to a filtrate branch pipe. Upper headers are in fluid connection with each other thereby forming an upper collecting duct running along the row at the same level as or above the upper headers. Lower headers are in fluid connection with each other thereby forming a lower collecting duct running along the row on the level of or below the lower headers.
