FILTER ASSEMBLY
A filter assembly that includes a water separator as part of the filter assembly. The water separator is arranged in the filter assembly and includes a filter element that is provided with a hydrophobic medium through which fuel/lubricant can pass through. The filter assembly also includes a water separator positioned downstream from the filter element. During the operation of the filter assembly, the water separator causes the water in the fuel to be separated and accumulate on the hydrophobic surface of the water separator and, due to the gravity, allows the water to flow downwards along the surface of the water separator into a water collection/sedimentation chamber where it can be evacuated from the filter through one or more passageways.
Parallel flow channel type filter cartridge
A parallel flow channel type filter cartridge includes a filter portion which includes a plurality of filter bodies and a plurality of filter housings corresponding to the plurality of filter bodies and independently accommodating the respective filter bodies and a cartridge header in which a top is formed in a structure in which a tap water pipe surrounds a perimeter of a purified water pipe, a plurality of filter accommodating pipes coupled with top ends of the plurality of filter housings which form the filter portion to seal an inside of the filter portion are formed at a bottom, and a parallel structure type flow channel which allows tap water to flow into the plurality of filter accommodating pipes at the same time and then allows the water purified while passing through the plurality of filter bodies to be discharged through the purified water pipe is formed therein.
COMPACT CROSS-FLOW CONTACTOR
A membrane contactor for degassing a gas-entrained liquid and to discharge gas-depleted liquid includes: a shell has two ends; a cap closes one shell end; a membrane extends between the shell ends and is enclosed within the shell; a first center tube discharges the gas-entrained liquid into the membrane; a second center tube discharges the gas-depleted liquid from the contactor; and one tube surrounds the other tube. The membrane may be a flat sheet membrane or a hollow fiber membrane. The cap has an in let in fluid communication with the first center tube and an outlet in fluid communication with the second center tube. A baffle may be located within the membrane between the shell ends.
Device For A Biological Liquid Treatment Installation
The invention concerns a device comprising a base (2) and a door (20), said device having a closed door position in which a circuit (8) of the device comprises a bag comprising two flexible films and connectors of the conveying network, and a press (9) comprising a first shell (16) disposed on a front face (5) of said base (2) and a second shell (17) disposed in said door (20); and a hinge system hinging said door (20) relative to said base (2), and disposed only on one side of said door (20) so as to form lateral clearances between said door (20) and said base (2) over the rest of a perimeter of said door (20).
Structures for Normalizing Multi-Planar Flow Distribution Within an Electrochemical Separation System
A module comprises a cell stack having a plurality of alternating ion depleting compartments and ion concentrating compartments, an inlet manifold configured to facilitate a flow of fluid into the cell stack, and a first flow distribution system, associated with the inlet manifold, including a first ramp to promote the circulation of the flow of fluid into the cell stack.
MEMBRANE SEPARATION APPARATUS
A membrane separation apparatus includes: a lower support body that includes a water-to-be-treated introduction port and a concentrated water discharge port; an upper support body that includes a permeated water discharge port; a separation membrane that is provided between the lower support body and the upper support body, and that separates water to be treated into permeated water and concentrated water; and a first sheet-like elastic member that is provided between the separation membrane and the lower support body, and that forms seals between the separation membrane and the lower support body and between the lower support body and the upper support body.
Modular filter cassette
The present disclosure relates to modular filtration cassettes for filtering liquids including, for example, liquids used in semiconductor manufacturing. A filter housing may define a filter cavity comprising an upstream portion and a downstream portion. The filter may further comprise a filter element disposed in the filter cavity. The filter element may at least partially overlap the filter inlet on a first side of the filter element. The filter element may comprise a rectangular pleated filter with a set of pleats having a first set of pleat tips on an upstream side of the filter element and a second set of pleat tips on a downstream side of the pleated filter.
Reverse osmosis centrifuge
The reverse osmosis centrifuge converts rotational energy into fluid velocity and conserves the energy placed into the concentrate. As concentrate travels back towards the center of the reverse osmosis centrifuge, the velocity of the fluid is converted into rotational force, thus conserving energy. To accomplish this, the reverse osmosis centrifuge includes a stationary cylindrical housing having a vacuum chamber and a vacuum pump for generating vacuum pressure in the vacuum chamber, a driveshaft coupled to a membrane cylinder rotatable within the stationary cylindrical housing, the membrane cylinder having a plurality of vertical desalination membranes, and an energy recovery turbine. The reverse osmosis centrifuge can be placed on the concentrate or waste stream outlet of a desalination or reverse osmosis facility to increase freshwater production. Through using the methods described above, plant water production can be increased up to 40%, which in turn has a dramatic effect on plant profitability.

Filtration apparatus
A plurality of hollow filter sheets have a suction pipe inserted therethrough to be stacked with a ring-shaped packing clamped therebetween. Therefore, a gap between the hollow filter sheet and the suction pipe is watertightly sealed. In the hollow filter sheet, a hollow portion is provided between two filters, and then a spacer with a surface having pits and projections is provided in the hollow portion. A narrow passage space allowing liquid to pass through is provided between the filter and the spacer by pressing the two filters against surfaces of the spacer with the packings and causing the filters to be deformed into a shape according to the surfaces of the spacer. The narrow passage space is smaller than a drainage space between the filters and the spacer that are not clamped by the packings.
