Mobility carrier apparatus for vehicles
A mobility carrier apparatus for vehicles includes: a carrier to store a mobility, and the carrier is not exposed at ordinary times and withdrawn when it is desired to use the mobility, thereby improving the external design of a vehicle and convenience of the vehicle. In particular, the carrier slides along a pair of sliding rails so as to be withdrawn from or stored in a case of the mobility carrier apparatus, and the carrier is provided with a storage unit in which the mobility is loaded. The mobility is lifted upwards at the time of withdrawal of the carrier.
SYSTEM FOR LOADING/UNLOADING AN AMBULANCE PATIENT TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT ONTO/FROM AN AMBULANCE LOADING SURFACE AND AMBULANCE PATIENT TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT THEREOF
A system for loading/unloading (100) an ambulance patient transport equipment (50) onto/from a loading surface (L) of an ambulance (V), wherein the system (100) comprises: a loading/unloading apparatus (60) of a patient transport equipment (50) associable with the loading surface (L), wherein the loading/unloading apparatus (60) comprises: at least one safety hook (611) which can be rigidly fixed to the loading surface (L); a patient transport equipment (50) comprising: an undercarriage (20) equipped with a support frame (21) and a plurality of legs (22,23) articulated to the support frame (21) and provided with rest wheels (221,231); an additional patient support device (30) configured to be mounted in a releasable manner on the undercarriage (20), wherein the additional device (30) comprises a load-bearing structure (31) to which a fixing block (315) is rigidly fixed adapted to detachably constrain the additional device (30) to the undercarriage (20); a rigid constraint body (250) rigidly fixed to the support frame (21) of the undercarriage (20) and provided, at a lower end, with a coupling body (251) configured to be detachably coupled to the safety hook (611) of the loading/unloading apparatus (60) and, at an opposite upper end thereof, with a fixing arrangement (252) configured to be detachably engaged by the fixing block (315) of the additional device (30).
Patient Transport Apparatus With Motion Dampening
A patient transport apparatus is provided for use with a retainer of a transport vehicle. The patient transport apparatus comprises a support structure comprising a patient support surface to support a patient. An engagement member is coupled to the support structure and arranged to engage the retainer when unloading the patient transport apparatus from the transport vehicle. A dampener is operable in a standby state or a resistance state such that the dampener provides increased resistance to movement of the patient transport apparatus in the resistance state as compared to the standby state. The resistance state of the dampener is activated by manually moving the patient transport apparatus in a first direction and the standby state is activated by manually moving the patient transport apparatus in a second direction, opposite the first direction.
Cot fastening system having a crash stable, cot fastener track and method of affixing an emergency cot thereto
Cot fastening systems which fix and hold an emergency cot to a crash stable, cot fastener track included in the system and provided within an emergency vehicle and methods of affixing the emergency cot thereto are disclosed. The track has a longitudinal length with first and second ends, open side rails longitudinally extending between the ends, and a channel centrally located between the rails. The side rails align, accommodate and guide a first fixture of the cot towards the first end as the cot is rolled within the vehicle and to retain the first fixture adjacent the first end at least vertically and laterally therein. The channel accommodates therein and retains a second fixture adjacent the second end at least vertically and laterally therein. A securing mechanism releasably prevents removal of the first fixture from the open side rails and removal of the second fixture from the channel.
Power Transfer System With Patient Support Apparatus And Power Transfer Device To Transfer Power To The Patient Support Apparatus
A power transfer system comprises a patient support apparatus and a power transfer device. The power transfer system provides convenience and ease of connection between a power source and the patient support apparatus to provide power to one or more electrically powered devices on the patient support apparatus or to provide energy for an energy storage device on the patient support apparatus.
Ambulance vehicle and method for providing an ambulance vehicle
An embodiment is directed to an ambulance vehicle, especially mobile stroke unit. The embodiment of the ambulance vehicle includes a support structure within an interior space of the ambulance vehicle for supporting a cot or stretcher used for transporting the patient. The embodiment of the ambulance vehicle further includes an actuator for tilting the support structure and/or the support structure being at least partially housed in a recess formed in a floor of the interior space.
Patient transporting device using a docking member for an emergency medical vehicle
The present disclosure provides a patient transporting device having a docking member at one end of the patient transporting device that allows to attach to and detach from a receiving portion of the patient loading systems in an emergency vehicle. The device includes a moveable base member that a patient lies down on, a pathway member for the base member to slidably move along tracks of the pathway member, and a docking member at one end of the pathway member that fits and mates with the receiving portion of the vehicle. In operation, the docking member docks with the receiving portion and establishes an extended bridge formed of the pathway member and the docking member of the device and the receiving portion of the vehicle. The extended bridge has a substantially coplanar surface so that the patient lying down on the base member may be easily loaded to the vehicle.
