COT FASTENING SYSTEM
A cot fastening system for fastening a cot to an emergency vehicle includes a frame configured for mounting to the floor of an emergency vehicle, which has a longitudinal axis and a cot loading direction along the longitudinal axis. The system includes a first restraint assembly for coupling to a first cot attachment of the cot, which is mounted to the frame. The system further includes a second restraint assembly for coupling to a second cot attachment, which is also mounted to the frame. The system further includes a spring, such as a coil spring, for biasing the cot in a direction opposed from the loading direction of the frame to thereby apply a pre-load on at least one of said restraint assemblies.
Arrangement for mounting a plane on a wall
Arrangement for mounting a plane (2) on a wall (1). The arrangement comprises said plane (2) and, supporting said plane (2), a first support arm (4) and a second support arm (5), the support arms (4, 5) are connectable to the wall (1) by their first end (4′, 5′) by means of a first joint arrangement (6, 7) so that the support arms (4, 5) are turnable in a substantially horizontal plane in relation to the wall (1). The support arms (4, 5) are mounted in connection with the plane (2) by their second ends (4″, 5″) by means of a second joint arrangement (10, 11) connected the second end (4″, 5″) of the support arm (4, 5). The second joint arrangement (10, 11) comprises a joint (14, 15) provided with a substantially horizontal turning axis, whereby said plane (2) is turnable to a substantially horizontal usage position and a substantially vertical storage position by means of said joints (14, 15) provided with a substantially horizontal turning axis.
MILITARY VEHICLE WITH RECONFIGURABLE COMPARTMENT
A reconfigurable compartment for a military vehicle. The reconfigurable compartment includes a floor, a front, a rear, a roof, and sides. The floor, the front, the rear, the roof, and the sides are removably coupled with each other to define the reconfigurable compartment. At least one of the floor, the front, the rear, the roof, or the sides are function-specific and replaceable with a different function-specific at least one of the floor, the front, the rear, the roof, or the sides and thereby facilitate transitioning an overall function of the military vehicle to accommodate a variety of different vehicle applications.
Wheelchair fixing tool and wheelchair fixing device
A wheelchair fixing tool includes: a fixing part fixed to an upright member uprightly provided in a vehicle cabin; a hook detachable from a wheelchair: and a belt member formed long, having stretchability, and connecting the fixing part and the hook.
Seating Arrangement, including for ADA Bus Interior
A seat assembly is provided which is mountable to a vehicle to be rotatable from a forward facing passenger use position to a lateral stowed position which requires less vehicular floor space. That seat assembly can be installed adjacent to a second forward facing seat assembly having hinged seat bottom structure which provides a wheelchair backstop/support when the second seat assembly is not occupied by any passenger. The first and second seating assembly can be mounted in a public transportation bus within the ADA area of the bus, either as a floorplan module or as separate components. The first seating assembly alone or in combination with the second seating assembly can be mounted in other vehicles, such as Class B motorhomes (as defined by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association), to provide greater versatility and/or wheelchair accommodation. The aesthetic design is established to support passenger general approval of the overall floorplan orientation.
MOBILITY DEVICE RESTRAINING APPARATUS
A restraint apparatus for securing a mobility device in a vehicle includes a base configured to being mounted to a floor of the vehicle, a support coupled to the base and extending upward therefrom, and a backing plate adjustably coupled to the support. The backing plate defines a channel to provide vertical adjustment of the backing plate with respect to the support. An upper support is pivotally coupled to the backing plate, and a claw assembly is coupled to the upper support. The claw assembly includes a claw member and a latching member, where the latching member is pivotally coupled to the claw member to enable pivotal movement between an unlatched position and a latched position. A control system operably controls the pivotal movement of the latching member between its latched position to its unlatched positions. In the unlatched position, the claw assembly provides an opening for receiving the device.
Lavatory enclosure reconfigurable to accommodate a stretcher
A lavatory enclosure for an aircraft, reconfigurable to accommodate a stretcher, includes a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, and a fourth wall. The lavatory enclosure has a doorway in the third wall and a door having a first side, a second side, an upper end, and a lower end, in the doorway. The door is operable between an opened position and a closed position. A reconfigurable wall element with a first edge and a second edge is disposed in the second wall. The reconfigurable wall element has a hinge along the first edge permitting the reconfigurable wall element to pivot between a closed position, where the reconfigurable element is flush with the second wall, and an opened position, where the second edge of the reconfigurable wall element is pivoted so that the second edge is interior to the lavatory enclosure.
Patient support with energy transfer
A patient support system includes a patient support apparatus and a powered device mounted relative to the patient support apparatus and an electrical circuit to power the powered device, with the electrical circuit having a wireless power receiver to inductively couple to and transfer electrical energy from a wireless power transmitter when the wireless power receiver is in proximity to the wireless power transmitter.
Mobility carrier apparatus for vehicles
A mobility carrier apparatus for vehicles includes: a carrier to store a mobility, and the carrier is not exposed at ordinary times and withdrawn when it is desired to use the mobility, thereby improving the external design of a vehicle and convenience of the vehicle. In particular, the carrier slides along a pair of sliding rails so as to be withdrawn from or stored in a case of the mobility carrier apparatus, and the carrier is provided with a storage unit in which the mobility is loaded. The mobility is lifted upwards at the time of withdrawal of the carrier.
