Ergonomic Smart Chair and Mobility System and Use Thereof
This is directed to a smart ergonomic chair and mobility system. The system can be used as a working station, a working chair, a mobility device, a personal care device, or a combination thereof. The system is designed to provide ergonomic seating posture for a person who is seated on the chair. The system is also designed to reduce body stress by providing automatic movements of parts of the chair at predefined time points.
BENDABLE TRANSFERRING BED
A bendable transferring bed has a bed frame, multiple bed-panel units, and at least one coupling. Each two adjacent ones of the bed-panel units are pivotally connected to each other. Each bed-panel units has a moveable bed-panel and a transmission shaft. The moveable bed-panel is moved relative to the mounting frame through the rotating of the transmission shaft. The two transmission shafts of each two adjacent ones of the bed-panel units are connected by one of the couplings, and thus the moveable bed-panels of all the bed-panel units can be moved together. The moveable bed-panels of the bed-panel units are bendable relative to each other to keep the patient in a sitting position or other positions. The moveable bed-panels can be moved when the moveable bed-panels are bent relative to each other by the coupling, such that the patient can be moved when in the sitting position.
SYSTEM AND HANDLING METHOD TO FACILITATE THE MAINTENANCE OF A BED UNIT, IN PARTICULAR A HEALTHCARE BED
Disclosed is a handling system that makes it possible to place a wheeled sleeping unit, particularly a hospital bed, in a high position for a maintenance operation. The system includes a supporting device that is slidably mounted along a guide assembly and is provided with a receiving assembly that is hinged onto one or more vertical slidable portions of the device that are adjacent to a raising area. A sleeping unit can be placed in the area, above a lifting portion defined by the receiving assembly, and a longitudinal side of the unit can be positioned against an abutment surface of the assembly. The receiving assembly includes a holding element that fits into the top of the unit so as to lock the positioning of the unit in the receiving assembly, which makes it possible to change the orientation of the unit after a raising phase.
Multi-purpose, multi-utility, and re-organizable recliner chair bed
A recliner chair bed includes a first frame, a second frame, a backrest, and a leg rest. The first frame has front and rear ends. The second frame fits comfortably and moves telescopically inside and outside of the first frame. The leg rest is attached to the front end of the first frame. The backrest is attached to the rear end of the first frame. The independent movement of the back and leg rests helps in achieving desired position for comfort. The recliner chair bed provides stability, can be moved on to any fixtures such as furniture and toilet and also can be converted into a bed.
Patient Transport Apparatus With Linkage For Articulable Footrest
A patient transport apparatus for patients. The patient transport apparatus comprises a litter including a front assembly. The patient transport apparatus further comprises a footrest assembly operatively attached to the front assembly. The footrest assembly includes a footrest deck section and a linkage assembly operatively attached to and extending between the front portion of the front assembly and the footrest assembly to guide movement of the footrest assembly relative to the front assembly between a stowed position and a deployed position.
Patient Transport Apparatus With A Frame Assembly For Supporting A Patient Treatment Device
A patient transport apparatus for supporting a patient and a patient treatment device. The patient transport apparatus includes a seat assembly having a seat frame. A fowler assembly having a fowler frame is coupled to seat frame and is moveable relative to the seat assembly. The seat and fowler assemblies support the patient. A fowler actuator moves the fowler frame relative to the seat frame. A support frame assembly is coupled to the fowler frame. The support frame assembly includes a handle extending from the fowler frame and has a grasping portion spaced from the fowler frame. A mounting member is coupled to the handle. The mounting member defines a brace surface shaped for supporting the patient treatment device. The brace surface is spaced from a grasping portion of the handle to permit a user to grab the handle while supporting the patient treatment device.
Patient support apparatus
A patient support apparatus including a seat section, a backrest section that is movable relative to the seat section, and an arm supported relative to the seat section. The arm is adapted to move between a first position adjacent the seat section for use as an arm rest for a person sitting on the patient support apparatus to a raised second position adjacent the backrest section. The arm and the backrest section are coupled together when the arm is in the raised second position wherein the arm moves with the backrest section.
Bed with modified foot deck
A bed is provided having a non-pivotal actuation mechanism for a foot deck to assist the bed in being converted to a chair bed and lowered close to the floor even when the foot deck is in a generally vertical position. In one embodiment, the bed has a longitudinal gap between the intermediate deck section and the foot deck section. As the foot deck transitions to the generally vertical position from the generally horizontal position the gap between the intermediate frame section and the foot deck section is decreased.
OMNIDIRECTIONAL ELECTRIC HEALTHCARE BEDCHAIR
Disclosed is an omni-directional electric medical care bed chair, including Mecanum wheels, rollover prevention wheels, a bottom support, motors, a controller, a push rod device, a bed chair device, a cervical traction device, a shoulder joint rehabilitation device and ankle joint rehabilitation devices, wherein the push rod device drives the bed chair device to move, and therefore mutual switching among states of sitting, lying and turning over of the bed chair device can be realized. In conjunction with a bed chair technology enabling lying and turning over, a Mecanum wheel technology and medical care rehabilitation equipment, the medical care bed chair has functions of sitting, lying and turning over, also has an omni-directional movement ability, and can assist a patient in body rehabilitation training.
ROBOT SYSTEM
A robot system includes: at least one supporting unit, on which a person is placeable; a robot including a plurality of multi-jointed arms, each of which has a plurality of degrees of freedom, and at least one base provided with the plurality of multi-jointed arms; and at least one type of equipment mountable to the plurality of multi-jointed arms. The robot performs at least two nursing/medical actions on the person by operating the at least one type of equipment.
