Embodiments disclosed herein include a container for growing crops. In some embodiments, the container includes a hydroponic irrigation zone arranged to provide hydroponic irrigation to a first portion of a root zone of the crops, an aeroponic irrigation zone arranged to provide aeroponic irrigation to a second portion of the root zone, and a growing surface. The container may be used in a farming system.

Method for cultivating plants

A method for cultivating a plant, especially an orchid, is provided. The method involves a seedling at least partly surrounded by a substrate being introduced into a plant pot, the plant pot being introduced into one of multiple cells of a tray and the plant pot being immobilized in the cell, wherein the plant pot is introduced into the cell of the tray until a cell wall which is impenetrable for roots and especially unbreached towers above the plant pot.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANIMATING A PLANT

A device and method that support and animate a plant disposed in an inner plant pot having an underside including a pivoting magnet plate atop a waterproof interface relative to an outer plant pot lower housing. A follower magnet is mounted using a cam follower positioned below the waterproof interface for magnetic attraction with the pivoting magnet plate above. An electronic processor control module instantiates movement of the inner plant pot relative to the outer plant pot assembly via a single motor actuator, and a plurality of sensors in communication with the electronic processor control module collect data by the plurality of sensors upon the user touching the plant, among other inputs for interactive features, responses, gameplay, and the like.

The plug includes a first plug piece and a second plug device, which are positioned adjacent and contacting each other to form a plug body forming a plug channel. An indentation is disposed on the periphery of the plug body to correspond to and engage with a lip defining the mouth. The plug is supported by and rests within the mouth of a vessel such that a top portion of the plug rests extending above the mouth and a bottom portion of the plug rests extending below the mouth. When the indentation engages the lip, upper surfaces of the plug pieces may rest coplanar.

The plant cultivation pot comprises a plinth portion so that a part of the wall portion is below the bottom portion in the height direction of the plant cultivation pot. An outline of a lower edge of the first paper fiber board constituting the plinth portion is provided with cuts extending towards an upper rim of the plant cultivation pot. Thus, the cuts form openings in the wall portion through which roots of a plant can grow out from the plant cultivation pot.
