LOAD CELLS FOR PLUG HOLDER WEIGHT MEASUREMENT
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparatus for measuring various characteristics of an indoor agriculture system. In one embodiment, a plug holder weight measurement system includes a plant plug holder disposed in a grow tower and one or more load cells positioned and configured to detect a weight of a plug holder. The load cells may be compression-type, tension-type, torsion-type, or beam-type load cells and each may be integrated into the grow tower.
EARTH WALL HAVING A POCKET STRUCTURE FOR RECEIVING VEGETATION
A pocket structure for receiving containerized plants is sloped and hung from a wire of a wire basket. The pocket structure includes hooks, an irrigation fitting and corresponding drip channel to transmit water toward the rear of the pocket, and slots in the walls. The mesh units include braces and are sized for shipping. An earth wall is formed of the mesh units and pockets, and includes irrigation tubing.
Hollow Plastic Garden Blocks
This invention titled ‘Hollow Plastic Garden Blocks’ provides a new and convenient construction material for the home gardener. The blocks can be stacked or placed side by side to construct raised beds, or living walls, or used as garden bed edging. Unlike traditional cement wall blocks, the hollow plastic blocks are very lightweight and easily transported or moved by the home gardener. The blocks can be filled with soil or a suitable planting medium and then seeded or populated with living plants. These blocks are not restricted by interlocking positions therefore offer complete freedom of linear shape alignment. All blocks have drainage holes for greater durability. Any standard and efficient method of plastic shape fabrication could be used to produce these blocks. The blocks can be made of any durable plastic, virgin or recycled, and color choices are unlimited.

PLANTER WITH ELEVATED INTERNAL PORTION AND WATER PRESERVATION FEATURES
A planter includes an interior surface and a riser extending from a bottom of the interior surface and including a space between the riser and lateral walls of the planter. The riser includes an open-top recess formed in a top portion of the riser. A plate including a protrusion extending from a bottom side of the plate and forming an open-top reservoir on a top side of the protrusion. The protrusion is configured to be coupled with the recess to secure the plate to the riser.

A planter includes an interior surface and a riser extending from a bottom of the interior surface and including a space between the riser and lateral walls of the planter. The riser includes an open-top recess formed in a top portion of the riser. System and method for cultivating plants
A system for storing and cultivating plants and enhancing usable area, space or volume is provided. One or more racks are provided for housing plants, such as potted plants, in arrays extending in at least a vertical direction. Lighting is provided to provide ultraviolet and infrared radiation in the system. At least one rack is selectively moveable with respect to at least one lighting element, such that proximity between plants and at least one lighting element may be selectively varied.

An internal irrigation circuit board (10) comprises: a body (1), with a planting niche (2) adjacent to a drip irrigation channel (3) holding at least one drip irrigation hose (5), with the drip irrigation channel (3) functioning in cooperation with the planting niche (2) through a connecting channel (4) arrayed concurrently with the drip irrigation channel (3), the connecting channel (4) conveying water accumulated in the drip irrigation channel (3) to the planting niche (2).
Horticulture apparatus and method
A horticulture apparatus and method for planting, growing, and harvesting plants may include a platform having a width axis and a length axis, a gantry sized to straddle and move across at least one of the platform's width and length axes, and a controller. The gantry may comprise a frame, a motor mounted to the frame, a container bin operatively connected to the frame, and a modular tool operatively connected to the frame. The controller may engage the motor of the gantry to move the gantry across the platform, thereby providing the modular tool with access to different locations on the platform.
