Floating dispensers
A floating dispenser for floatingly delivering a dispersant or dispersants to a body of water with the floating dispenser floating in an upright condition when a dispersant is present in a dispenser cartridge of the floating dispenser with the dispenser self inverting 180 degrees in response to consumption of the dispersant in the dispenser cartridge to thereby provide a visual alert that one should replace the dispenser cartridge in the dispenser with a fresh dispenser cartridge.
APPARATUS FOR MIXING AND DOSING CHLORINE IN WATER
An automated mixing and dosing apparatus comprises a suction line, in fluid communication with an inlet through which to suck water, a hydraulic pump operatively connected in suction to the suction, a logic control unit, a first delivery line connected to the hydraulic pump, in delivery, to feed the sucked water to a perforated basket through a dispenser, wherein the dispenser is positioned at a top of the perforated basket and is configured to selectively deliver jets of pressurized water inside it to dissolve the chlorine tablets present in the perforated basket, a collection tank wherein to collect the dissolved chlorine, a second delivery line, in fluid communication with the pump delivery and with an outlet of the mixing apparatus, through which to deliver a mixed liquid, a mixing line which places the collection tank in fluid communication with the second delivery line, and is connected to the second delivery line through a Venturi tube.
Indexable dispenser cartridges
An indexable cartridge and method that is useable in either a stagnant fluid environment or in a moving fluid environment with the indexable cartridge floatable in a stagnant fluid environment and securable in a moving fluid environment with the indexable cartridge having a housing having one or more diffusion ports and a sleeve having one or more diffusion ports indexable to a diffusion port alignment through resilient yielding of the sleeve while a set of ribs inhibit lateral flow therebetween.
Blood Sample Management Using Open Cell Foam
A specimen transfer device adapted to receive a blood sample is disclosed. The specimen transfer device includes a housing and an actuation member. A deformable material is disposed within the housing and is deformable from an initial position in which the material is adapted to hold the sample to a deformed position in which at least a portion of the sample is released from the material. A viscoelastic member is disposed within the housing between the material and the housing and between the material and the actuation member. The viscoelastic member is engaged with the actuation member and the material such that movement of the actuation member from a first position to a second position deforms the material from the initial position to the deformed position.

METHODS OF MAKING MEDICAL SOLUTIONS AND RELATED SYSTEMS
This disclosure relates to making medical solutions. In certain aspects, a method is performed by a data processing apparatus. The method includes introducing liquid into a container that contains a dissolvable solid concentrate in a manner so that a layer of solution above the solid concentrate is maintained at a depth that allows the liquid introduced into the container to agitate the solution adjacent to the solid concentrate to cause mixing of the solid concentrate with the solution.
Chemical dilution system
A dilute chemical solution may be prepared in response to a dispense request by combining multiple concentrated chemicals with a diluent. In one example, a target amount of diluent is dispensed into a container until a measured weight of the diluent reaches a target weight. A first concentrated chemical is also dispensed into the container until a measured weight of the first concentrated chemical reaches a target weight. The liquid solution containing the diluent and the first concentrated chemical is withdrawn from the container and applied on a second concentrated chemical that is a solid state product so as to cause the second concentrated chemical to at least partially dissolve and enter the container. In some applications, the first and second concentrated chemicals react with one another to generate an active molecule in the chemical solution that is not present in either of the two concentrated chemicals.

MODULAR LIQUID INFUSING, FLAVORING, AND DISPENSING DEVICE
The present invention is directed to a Modular Liquid Infusing, Flavoring and Dispensing Device that provides a means to infuse flavor into liquids for variable periods of time prior to dispensing, and after the brewing process, wherein the system provides a means to control the rate at which the liquid is dispensed, reduces the trauma to the dispensed liquid, and reduces the amount of foaming in the dispensed liquid. The present invention further provides a method for using the Modular Liquid Infusing, Flavoring, and Dispensing Device.
