Person support apparatus with braking system
A person support apparatus includes a base frame with a plurality of caster wheel assemblies, each of the caster wheel assemblies including a caster brake actuator movable between a total braking position and a non-braking position. A linkage system is coupled to the caster brake actuators for controlling the caster brake actuators and is operable to move the caster brake actuators between their total braking positions and their non-braking positions. The linkage system is configured to compensate for tolerances in the linkage system wherein the linkage system can control the caster brake actuators to simultaneously move between their total braking positions and their non-braking positions.
Mapping and data collection of in-building layout via mobility devices
A method includes receiving sensor data relating to an environment from a plurality of mobility deices, determining locations of one or more points of accessibility within the environment based on the sensor data, creating an environment map based on the sensor data, and transmitting the environment map to a mobility device. The environment map includes the one or more points of accessibility.
Powered wheelchair mover
An apparatus for moving a wheelchair, the apparatus having a base including a drive motor drivingly connected to a drive wheel and a first forwardly extending lower arm member engageable with the wheelchair when the wheelchair is in the engageable position. The first lower arm member is operable between a lowered position in which the first lower arm member is disengaged from the wheelchair and a raised position in which the first lower arm engages the wheelchair. The first lower arm member has a first stop member whereby, when the first lower arm member is in the raised position and engages the wheelchair, and when the wheelchair is on a forwardly extending declined surface, the first stop member inhibits forward motion of the wheelchair.
Robot
Provided is a robot including a seating body provided with a seat and an armrest body and a steering, the steering housing has an opening in an upper portion thereof and an inner space therein is disposed on the armrest body. The steering includes a handle and a lower portion passing through the opening, the lower portion being accommodated in the inner space and an elevator accommodated in the inner space, the elevator being connected to the lower portion of the steering body to elevate the steering body.

The steering includes a handle and a lower portion passing through the opening, the lower portion being accommodated in the inner space and an elevator accommodated in the inner space, the elevator being connected to the lower portion of the steering body to elevate the steering body.

Elevated Height Wheelchair
The present disclosure includes a wheelchair configured to reposition an occupant between a lowered and a raised position. The wheelchair can include a frame, a seat moveable relative to the frame, a drive wheel, one or more pairs of arm assemblies, and one or more sensors. The arm assembly includes a wheel configured to move from a first spatial location when the wheelchair is operating on flat, level ground to a second spatial location that is different than the first spatial location. Arm limiters can selectively engage the arm assembly based on at least one of a seat position, position of the arm assembly, and surface conditions of ground surface. The arm limiters can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair.
Electric Wheelchair Frame
An electric wheelchair frame includes a frame and a power support swayably connected to a frame. A connecting rod is swayably connected to the frame, is pivotably connected to the power support, and is movable relative to the power support in a longitudinal direction. A driving device includes a connecting seat and a power output unit. The connecting seat is pivotably mounted to the power support. The power output unit is fixed to the connecting seat and includes a driving shaft extending away from the frame and a driving wheel. When the driving wheel is moving on a bumpy road, the pivotal movement between the connecting seat and the power support increases the sitting comfort of a user in an electric wheelchair.
