Reduction unit, arm joint provided with two or three reduction units respectively, and a robot arm
An arm joint is provided with a first coupling part with a first axis and a second coupling part with a second axis. Further, the arm joint includes a third coupling part connected in a manner rotatable around a third axis with the first coupling part. The third axis includes an angle with the first axis in the range of 30-60 degrees, preferably of 45 degrees. The third coupling part is connected in a manner rotatable around a fourth axis with the second coupling part. The fourth axis includes an angle with the second axis in the range of 30-60 degrees, preferably of 45 degrees. The third and the fourth axis mutually include an angle in the range of 60-120 degrees, preferably of 90 degrees. A robot arm with a number, preferably three, of such arm joints is also disclosed.
Multifunctional wheelchair
A multifunctional wheelchair contains: a body, a support plate, a lifting seat, and a shampoo basin. The body includes a retractable mounting, a chair back, at least one drive device, and two frames. The two frames have two main wheels, the two frames have two guide wheels, and the two armrests are arranged on a second drive device. A respective armrest has an abutting portion, and the retractable mounting have two racks. The support plate is detachably engaged on the retractable mounting of the body. The lifting seat is removably engaged on the retractable mounting of the body, and the lifting seat includes a saddle on a third drive device which is configured to drive the saddle to lift or descend adjustably. The shampoo basin is detachably connected on the chair back and included a washing chamber.
Portable body-washing apparatus
A portable body-washing apparatus is a self-supported, self-contained hygiene aid directed towards use in care-homes, hospitals, or other facilities typically tasked with assisted bathing of disabled persons. A mobile chassis supports an adjustable armature, a base chair segment, and at least one articulated chair segment to support a subject's body during washing. An onboard pump assembly and connected power supply feeds fluids from at least one fluid source through a plurality of conduits via a fluid selection source, enabling operators to select from various output modes, e.g., water, heated air, body wash, shampoo, et cetera. The plurality of conduits is connected to a plurality of outlet heads distributed across the base chair segment and at least one articulated chair segment to enable a full-body wash without requiring a caregiver to physically maneuver the patient.
Wheelchair Shielding Device
A wheelchair shielding device for shielding a wheelchair user from one or more of precipitation and sunlight includes a framework and a canopy. The framework is mountable to a frame of a wheelchair so that the framework extends upwardly from a rear of the wheelchair. The canopy is hingedly engaged to an upper end of the framework and is selectively positionable in a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the stowed configuration, the canopy is substantially parallel to and in abutment with the framework. In the deployed configuration, the canopy extends above a seat of the wheelchair and shields a user positioned upon the seat from one or more of precipitation and sunlight.

Patient support apparatus having an extension
A patient support apparatus having a support structure with a primary support surface for a patient, and an extension manually movable by a user relative to the support structure from a stowed position to an extended position so that the extension provides auxiliary support for the patient in the extended position. A locking device is operable to releasably hold the extension relative to the support structure in the stowed position and the extended position. A release mechanism is operable to manipulate the locking device to release the extension for movement relative to the support structure, and is movable with the extension from the stowed position to the extended position.
