GAS INJECTION SYSTEMS FOR OPTIMIZING NANOBUBBLE FORMATION IN A DISINFECTING SOLUTION
20220144676 · 2022-05-12 ·

Systems, devices, and methods are presented for optimizing the formation of gas nanobubbles in a disinfecting solution. In an example system for treating contaminated water, a centrifugal pump draws the water from a reservoir and circulates the water in and through a circuit of elements including a mixing chamber in the pump, a pressure vessel, a backflow valve, a Venturi injector, and a pair of nozzles immersed in the reservoir. The system injects ozone-rich gas into the fluid to produce an aqueous solution containing a volume of gas nanobubbles. The nozzles release the gas nanobubbles into the reservoir, creating highly reactive compounds that destroy organic compounds and other contaminants in the water.

A gas infuser includes a mixing chamber and a liquid injector. Gas is supplied into the mixing chamber and liquid flows through openings of the injector to mix with the gas in the mixing chamber and form a gas-infused liquid.

System and Method for Removal of Volatile Hydrocarbons from a Water Stream
20230242417 · 2023-08-03 ·

A system for separating a volatile hydrocarbon from a water stream includes a lead mixer-injector device that receives an untreated water stream including a volatile hydrocarbon, injects compressed air into the untreated water stream and mixes the injected air with the untreated water stream to form a first injected fluid stream. A shear mixing device receives the first injected fluid stream from the mixer-injector device and shear gas bubbles within the received first injected fluid stream so that a frothed stream is formed. A lead degas separator receives and separates the frothed stream from the shear mixing device into a volatile hydrocarbon stream and a partially treated water stream based on difference in density. A compressor directs clean and oil free compressed air to the lead mixer-injector device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GAS DISPOSAL
20210362102 · 2021-11-25 ·

A method for controlling the saturation level of gas in a liquid discharge includes obtaining temperature and pressure measurements of a solvent in a mixing vessel and obtaining a pressure measurement of a source feedstock in a feedstock tank, correlating the temperature and pressure measurements of the solvent to baseline data to generate a theoretical uptake rate for the source feedstock into the solvent and a theoretical flow rate of the source feedstock into the mixing vessel, and determining a required opening setting for a feedstock valve in the feedstock input line in order to achieve a desired liquid displacement in the mixing vessel. The method includes determining an uptake duration and achieving an uptake displacement equivalent to the reverse of the desired liquid displacement. The method includes generating a valve operating control law for how the feedstock valve should function in a cycle.

Ozone water supply method and ozone water supply device

An ozonated water supply method includes: feeding dissolving water contained in a circulation tank to an ozonation device at a given feed rate while feeding ultrapure water to the circulation tank, and returning ozonated water that has not been used at a use point to the circulation tank, dissolving ozone in the dissolving water using the ozonation device to obtain ozonated water, and feeding the ozonated water to the use point; feeding oxygen gas having a nitrogen gas content of 0.01 vol % or less to a discharge-type ozone gas-producer, and feeding the resulting ozone-containing gas to the ozonation device; adjusting the feed rate of the ultrapure water to the circulation tank; and adjusting the dissolved ozone concentration in the ozonated water. The method can reduce or suppress the accumulation of nitric acid in the recirculation system when a discharge-type ozone gas-producer is used as the ozone gas-producer.

An apparatus configured to generate generating water having nano bubbles of molecular hydrogen on demand. The apparatus is connected to a water supply with a valve and has a pump which supplies pressurized water to a venturi gas liquid mixer that also receives a supply of Hydrogen gas. The mixed hydrogen gas/water steam is provided to a nano bubble generating apparatus that uses cavitation to generate nano bubbles of Hydrogen in the water. The Hydrogen nano bubbles have diameters of less than 200 nm and a concentration of up to 1.2 ppm. Further the concentration remains with 85% of the output concentration for at least 12 hours.

LIQUID EJECTION DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE WASHING FACILITY, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
