A tilt-tip moldable bed system for the care of immobile patients is provided. The bed system may include a moldable mattress having a casing with a bladder defining an inner volume and a top compliant surface over a top surface of the bladder, the compliant surface configured to conform to a shape of a displacing structure. The bladder may be configured to hold a plurality of beads suspended in a fluid medium. The moldable mattress may be molded while inflated and maintain a resilient shape when evacuated. The system may further include a supporting frame for the moldable support structure having a laterally rigid outer rim with at least one attachment point for the moldable mattress, at least one attachment point for a netted sling, and one or more mounting tracks configured to support at least one peripheral attachment.

A water therapy system, including a therapy chair with a tiltable backrest portion, and a foot tub, including a water bucket and an inclined ramp, such that a patient can be lying in the therapy chair with lower legs and feet extended into the water bucket, such that an inclination angle of the inclined ramp ensures a comfortable seating position. Also disclosed is an inclined ramp for holding a water bucket for use in reflexology therapy, including an inclined surface and a base, such that the inclined surface is configured to hold a water bucket.

Apparatus (1) for washing a bedridden patient includes a basin (2) and a disposable water impermeable flexible liner (3) for lining a hollow interior region (5) of the basin (2). Retaining members (35) in retaining member accommodating recesses (37) located in corners (10) of the basin (2) engage engagement openings (30) formed in the liner (3) adjacent a peripheral upper edge (24) thereof and adjacent corners (27) of a peripheral wall (19) of the liner (3) for releasably securing and retaining the liner (3) to the basin (2). The basin (2) lined with the liner (3) is charged with water for washing the patient. On completion of washing, the liner (3) is removed from the basin (2) for disposal.

An air mattress system includes a mattress including main cells arranged in parallel between a head end and a tail end of the mattress. At least one of the main cells allows air pressure therein to be individually adjusted or adjusted together with air pressure of other main cells. Air pressure valves are connected to the main cells. A controller controls at least one of the air pressure valves to perform an inflation operation or a deflation operation. A human machine interface system provides health care items and receives a selective operation of a first target item among the health care items. The controller controls, according to the first target item, the air pressure valves to sequentially perform one of the deflation inflation operations on the main cells along a major axis between the head end and the tail end, and a health care operation is thus assisted.

Apparatus (1) for washing a bedridden patient comprises a basin (2) and a disposable water impermeable flexible liner (3) for lining a hollow interior region (5) of the basin (2). The present invention discloses a multifunctional critical care system and an operation method thereof. A lifting frame disposed on the bed body, a bed plate and a plurality of lifting bands are disposed at the lifting frame, and a tensioning mechanism is disposed on the lifting frame; The bed plate comprises vertical elevating mechanisms, a transverse telescopic mechanism disposed between the vertical elevating mechanisms; the lifting frame is connected to a tilting mechanism; fastening the lifting bands to lifting bands fastening devices, actuating the vertical elevating power mechanisms; actuating the transverse telescopic power mechanism; actuating the tensioning power mechanism; and actuating the transmission power mechanism. The nursing care mechanism facilitates replacement of bed sheets, ventilating the back, letting the patient laid on their left or right side, cleaning and wiping the body, defecation; and combines the functions of a nursing equipment, a sickbed, and a wheelchair.

A limb irrigation pan device collects and removes irrigation fluid and debris from a surgical field when a limb is irrigated. The device includes a frame having a pair of opposed ends and a pair of longitudinal sides extending between the opposed ends. Respective upper surfaces of each opposed end are concavely arcuate and an upper edge of the frame defines an open top of the frame. A base is coupled to the opposed ends and the longitudinal sides defining a well for collecting a fluid passed into the frame through the open top. A porous sling is coupled to the frame for passing the fluid through the sling to be collected in the well. A drain coupled to the frame is in fluid communication with the well wherein the drain drains the fluid from the well.

A multi-function care bed is disclosed including a flatbed having a plurality of panels foldable between a first configuration in which the plurality of panels are adapted to support a person in a horizontal position, and a second configuration in which the plurality of panels are adapted to form a chair to support the person in a seated position. The multi-function care bed also includes a bed frame configured to support the person on a mattress, the bed frame being movable between a first position in which the bed frame substantially overlies the flatbed, and a second position in which the plurality of panels of the flatbed are exposed so as to allow transfer of the person between the bed frame and the flatbed. The multi-function care bed also includes a body movement system in which a group of arms lift, lower, roll, or massage the person.
