Highly aligned fiber nozzle for additive manufacturing applications

An additive manufacturing system for an additive manufacturing material and embedded short-chopped fibers includes an extruder comprising a nozzle having a nozzle flow channel. The nozzle includes a plurality of spaced apart elongated aligning structures distributed inside the nozzle flow channel and parallel to the longitudinal center axis defining alignment flow channels within the nozzle flow channel. A nozzle for additive manufacturing, a method of additive manufacturing, and a method of making a nozzle for an additive manufacturing system for and additive manufacturing material and embedded short-chopped fibers are also disclosed.

A method for the dynamic inline mixing of a pressurized medium containing a liquid and at least one further liquid or solid constituent in a bioprocess arrangement, the liquid being merged with the at least one further liquid or solid constituent in a predefined volume ratio at an opening point to form a resulting liquid flow, the bioprocess arrangement having a pump arrangement with a first pump, the first pump being arranged in the line of the line arrangement, the first pump being designed as a rotary pump configured for the dynamic inline mixing of the medium, the first pump having a liquid inlet, which during intended operation forms the suction side of the pump, and a liquid outlet, which during intended operation forms the pressure side of the pump, and the medium being conducted through the rotary pump for the purpose of dynamic inline mixing.

DISPERSION COMPOSITION PRODUCTION METHOD

A dispersion composition production method uses a dispersion device including: a dispersion mechanism dispersing a raw material composition; a supply mechanism equipped with a plunger part and supplying the raw material composition to the dispersion mechanism; and a cooling mechanism cooling the plunger part using a cooling liquid medium. The raw material composition contains a non-aqueous dispersion medium and a dispersoid. The cooling liquid medium is a liquid medium that results in 0-50 particles 10 m or more in the flocculation test below: dispersing a composition identical to the raw material composition; preparing a test dispersion liquid having a particle size of less than 10 m; preparing a test sample by mixing the test dispersion liquid and the cooling liquid medium at a mass ratio of 1:1; and identifying the number of particles of 10 m or more in the test sample.
