BED DEVICE
A bed device includes: an operation section that receives an operation input; a controller that controls a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; a detector that detects a position of a patient on the bed; and, a limitation table that stores a limitation area set on the bed in association with a limitation content, wherein when the position of the patient detected by the detector is included in the limitation area, the limitation content is read out from the limitation table so as to control the controller in accordance with the limitation content. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a higher safety bed device which can not only notify the danger based on the bed movement but also limit the movement of the bed in accordance with the status of the patient or the bed device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOVING, TURNING, AND POSITIONING A PATIENT
An apparatus includes a sheet having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, a first flap coupled to the bottom surface proximate the first lateral side, a second flap coupled to the bottom surface proximate the second lateral side and longitudinally offset from the first flap, a first strap coupled to the first flap, and a second strap coupled to the second flap.
Dynamic apnea therapy surface
Dynamic support surface technologies configure a person support surface in various ways, including configurations in which the person support surface at least temporarily assumes an apnea therapy position, such as a progressive lateral tilt or a ramp-like position.
Patient transport apparatus
An inflatable device includes a top sheet of material and a bottom sheet of material, wherein the top sheet of material is connected to the bottom sheet of material thereby defining a cavity therebetween to be inflated. The device further includes a plurality of passages in the bottom sheet extending from the cavity to an exterior of the device, wherein the passages are configured to permit air to pass from the cavity to the exterior of the device and to flow between a bottom surface of the device and a supporting surface upon which the device is configured to rest. The inflatable device further includes a plurality of inflation-limiting members connecting the top sheet to the bottom sheet, and an input configured for receiving air to inflate the device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PATIENT TURNING AND REPOSITIONING
The present disclosure relates to a patient support which can be used in a bed or flat surface and in particular to a system and method for support and offloading of the body and for turning and repositioning of a patient in a bed or on a flat surface. Features of the disclosure also relate to markings and other indicators used on the patient support which help guide caregivers in the proper use and correct patient positioning on the patient support.
MATTRESS
A mattress 100 includes a movable part 1 and a mattress body 2 including a first mattress part 21 disposed above the movable part 1, and a second mattress part 22 provided separately from the first mattress part 21 and disposed to surround the first mattress part in a plan view. The first mattress part 21 is configured to rotate upward about the predetermined rotation axis by the movable part 1.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PATIENT POSITIONING AND OFFLOADING
Methods and systems of patient offloading include positioning an inflatable transfer mattress in a first position with respect to a surface supporting the inflatable transfer mattress. At least one inflatable positioning wedge is positioned in a second position with respect to the surface. The inflatable transfer mattress is positioned in a third position in which a portion of the inflatable transfer mattress overlaps a portion of the at least one inflatable positioning wedge. The at least one inflatable positioning wedge is inflated to transition the portion of the inflatable transfer mattress overlapping the portion of the at least one inflatable positioning wedge to a non-zero angle with respect to the surface.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL MATTRESS OVERLAY
A multifunctional mattress overlay of the present invention comprises an air cell body, a gas pipe set and an inflating device. The air cell body has multiple first and second air cells. The first and second air cells both have a left and right air chamber. The gas pipe set respectively connects to the left and right air chambers. The inflating device is connected to the gas pipe set, and can selectively inflate and/or deflate the left and right air chambers, which makes the air cell body show an alternate state. The inflating device can inflate and/or deflate all the right or all left air chambers separately, which makes the air cell body show a turnover state. Through it, the air cell body can selectively in the alternating state or the turnover state, which makes the air cell body massage the patient and also assist the patient in turning over.
Patient Support Systems And Methods For Assisting Caregivers With Patient Care
A patient support system comprises a patient support apparatus for patients. The patient support apparatus comprises a base and a patient support surface supported by the base. The patient support apparatus also comprises powered devices that perform one or more predetermined functions on the patient support apparatus. Multiple input devices are employed to control the powered devices. The input devices are designed to enable caregivers to cause operation of the powered devices, as needed, while freeing the caregivers to perform other tasks.
HOSPITAL BED HAVING ROUNDING CHECKLIST
A patient support apparatus, such as a hospital bed, communicates with an electronic medical record (EMR) system in healthcare facility. The hospital bed includes a patient support structure to support a patient, a graphical user interface coupled to the patient support structure, and control circuitry coupled to the graphical user interface. The graphical user interface displays at least one input that may be used by a caregiver to chart data into an electronic medical record (EMR) of a patient supported by the patient support structure.
