Disclosed is a gradient proportioning valve for liquid chromatography that includes a plurality of inlet ports configured to receive a plurality of fluids, a manifold connected to each of the plurality of inlet ports configured to mix the plurality of fluids in a controlled manner to provide a fluid composition, the manifold including a plurality of fluid conduits internal to the manifold, each of the plurality of fluid conduits receiving fluid through a respective one of the plurality of inlet ports, each of the plurality of fluid conduits operatively communicable to a respective actuation mechanism configured to open and close each of the plurality of fluid conduits in a controlled manner, a common outlet port configured to receive the fluid composition, and a passive fluidic dampening system configured to dampen unwanted fluidic pressure pulses in the manifold where at least one of the plurality of fluid conduits is compliant.

Compounding device, system, kit, software, and method
An exemplary compounding system and method can include a transfer set that includes a manifold for assisting in transferring a plurality of ingredients from supply container(s) to a final container. The manifold can include a first channel in fluid communication with at least one primary ingredient, and a second channel in fluid communication with a plurality of secondary ingredients. The first channel and second channel can be in fluid isolation from each other such that the at least one primary ingredient does not mix with the plurality of secondary ingredients within the manifold. The transfer set can include a plurality of inlet lines in fluid communication with the manifold and two outlet lines configured for connection to two separate pumps and eventually being in fluid communication with the final container.

A first intake manifold is connected to a first group of cylinders, a second distinct intake manifold is connected to a second group of cylinders and a first, respectively a second, exhaust manifold for receiving the exhaust gas emitted from the first, respectively the second, group of cylinders. A mixing unit includes a four-way valve having a first inlet connected to an air line, a second inlet connected to the EGR line, a first outlet connected to the first intake manifold and a second outlet connected to the second intake manifold. The first inlet is connected to the air line, the second inlet is connected to the EGR line. The first outlet and said second outlet form a substantially X-shape. The first inlet and said second inlet are coaxial. The first outlet and second outlet are coaxial such that the first inlet is diagonally facing the second inlet and the first outlet is diagonally facing the second outlet.
COMPOUNDING DEVICE, SYSTEM, KIT, SOFTWARE, AND METHOD
An exemplary compounding system and method can include two pump heads for simultaneously drawing two different fluids from at least two separate input containers such that the at least two different fluids are mixed and distributed to an output container. The system can include a manifold that maintains separation of certain of the different fluids until after passing by a first pump and a second pump and/or additional pumps. A junction can be placed in the fluid line downstream of the first and second pumps and/or additional pumps such that all or some of the fluids are mixed prior to output to the output container. The method of using the system can include incorporating software that selects various fluids at certain times and sequences to ensure optimum efficiency and safety for the system, and can continue compounding actions even when an input supply container runs out or otherwise fails to supply a particular fluid/material. The method of use also includes connection of a transfer set to a housing in a manner that further ensures optimum efficiency and safety.
