Apparatus and Method for Hydroponic Plant Production
The present disclosure describes an apparatus for hydroponic plant production which comprises a plant production space and an irrigation system. The plant production space is enclosed by a plurality of surfaces. Columns of holes may be made through one or more surfaces. Holes of one column and holes of an adjacent column are arranged in a staggered manner. The apparatus may also include a cap and a supporting frame. The cap and the supporting frame are secured with the surfaces through fastening mechanism, which improves stableness of the apparatus. The present disclosure also provides a method for hydroponic plant production accordingly.
Cannabis growth methods and systems
Cannabis growth systems can have one or more sensors that sense various environmental elements in the ambient environment in which cannabis plants are growing. The sensors are electrically connected to a central controller that receives the sensed data relating to the environmental elements and can take various actions in response to the sensed data like adjusting one or more of the environmental control systems that control different environmental elements in the ambient environment.
Flower Pot
A flower pot includes a main body and a water collection basin. The main body has a receiving cavity and at least one opening formed on a bottom portion thereof. The opening communicates the receiving cavity with an exterior of the main body. The water collection basin is formed underneath the main body, and is integrally extended from the bottom portion of the main body to act as a base for the flower pot.
HYDROPONIC TRAY AND HYDROPONIC SYSTEM
The tray (10) of the present invention is for use in hydroponics. The tray has a first end and a second end having a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. An inlet (20) is provided at the first end for receiving nutrient and an outlet (30) is provided at the second end for draining nutrient solution. A levee system comprising paddle assemblies (40) extending orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the tray is disposed between the first end and second end of the tray. The paddle assemblies are adapted to partition the tray to define compartments and to impede the downstream flow of nutrient solution from the first end to the second end. The paddle assemblies are adjustable so as regulate depth of nutrient solution in each compartment to enable optimal irrigation of the plants cultivated in each compartment. To complete a hydroponic system, the tray of the present invention connects to at least one reservoir for holding nutrient solution. The reservoir comprises conduits in flow communication with the inlet of the tray or outlet of the tray. Nutrient solution held in the reservoir is supplied to the tray via the inlet, and nutrient solution in the tray is drained into the reservoir via the outlet.
HYDROPONIC GROWING SYSTEM
A hydroponic growing system including an elongated trough. The trough includes at least a first side wall, an opposite second side wall, and a bottom wall, which all extend in the longitudinal direction of the trough and delimit a space in the centre of the trough, open at the top. The trough also includes a partition wall structure extending in the longitudinal direction of the trough and dividing said central space into two adjacent elongated grooves which are open at the top and into which one or more substrates can be placed for the cultivation of plants. In an example, the partition wall structure includes an elongated overflow channel extending in the longitudinal direction of the groove and guides the irrigation water past the grooves. The overflow channel may be arranged in an elevated position with respect to the bottom wall.
Indexing plants in two-dimensional and three-dimensional space in a controlled growing environment
A crop production system for a controlled plant growing environment is provided. A first assembly comprises a first sub-assembly that itself comprises a first plurality of arms radiating outward from a central portion, wherein each arm is separated from two adjacent arms of the first plurality of arms by respective angles, each arm has a first end proximal to the central portion and a second end distal to the central portion, and each arm is configured to support a plurality of plant growth modules. The plurality of plant growth modules may be moved in a first direction miming from the first end to the second end of each arm of the first plurality of arms.
OPEN-TOP GUTTER
An open-top gutter for cultivation of plants. In an example, the open-top gutter includes a space limited by two side walls and a bottom wall and divided into trough-like compartments by at least one dividing wall. The dividing wall includes at least one water space formed by a double wall, open at the bottom of the gutter.
Device for securing temporary structures
A device and method for securing a structural object, including a bottom tray configured to support thereon a container having an open top portion and a closed bottom portion, the bottom tray having a vertical wall configured to support the container around a circumference thereof; and a slot integrated into an end of the bottom tray and vertical wall and configured to fit around a pole shaped structural object adapted to be received within the slot, the bottom tray of the slot configured to rest upon a base of the pole shaped structural object.
