20220118413 · 2022-04-21 · ·

Methods and systems of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from two or more sets of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof. In an embodiment of the in-line mixing system, hydrocarbon liquids stored in at least one tank of each of two or more sets of tanks positioned at a tank farm are blended into a blend flow pipe via in-line mixing and the blended mixture is pumped through a single pipeline. In one or more embodiments, the in-line mixing system employs a separate spillback or recirculation loop that is fluidly connected to each set of the two or more sets of tanks to control the flow of the hydrocarbon fluid/liquid from each set of tanks to the blend flow pipe. Associated methods of operating one or more embodiments of the system include regulation of spillback or recirculation loop flow rate and/or pressure to drive the actual blend ratio towards a desired blend ratio.

Ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing apparatus and ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing method

In order to efficiently produce a liquid containing ultrafine bubbles of a desired gas, an ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing apparatus includes a gas dissolving unit that dissolves a predetermined gas into a liquid, and a UFB generating unit that generates ultrafine bubbles in the liquid in which the predetermined gas is dissolved. A CPU performs control under a first condition in a case of causing the gas dissolving unit to operate in a circulation route passing through the dissolving unit. The CPU performs control under a second condition different from the first condition in a case of causing the UFB generating unit to operate in a circulation route passing through the UFB generating unit.

An asphalt shingle coating system that includes a coater, a mixer, a viscosity gauge, a wax supply, a wax pump and a control system. The coater applies a layer of a coating asphalt mixture on an asphalt shingle substrate. The mixer mixes the coating asphalt mixture and is positioned upstream of the coater. The viscosity gauge may be positioned between the coater and the mixer, and it measures the viscosity of said coating asphalt mixture before it is delivered to the coater. The wax supply is in fluid communication with the mixer and a wax pump may deliver a volume of wax from the wax supply to the mixer, and the control system may selectively adjust the operation of the wax pump to substantially maintain a desired viscosity of said coating asphalt mixture.

Ozone water supply method and ozone water supply device

An ozonated water supply method includes: feeding dissolving water contained in a circulation tank to an ozonation device at a given feed rate while feeding ultrapure water to the circulation tank, and returning ozonated water that has not been used at a use point to the circulation tank, dissolving ozone in the dissolving water using the ozonation device to obtain ozonated water, and feeding the ozonated water to the use point; feeding oxygen gas having a nitrogen gas content of 0.01 vol % or less to a discharge-type ozone gas-producer, and feeding the resulting ozone-containing gas to the ozonation device; adjusting the feed rate of the ultrapure water to the circulation tank; and adjusting the dissolved ozone concentration in the ozonated water. The method can reduce or suppress the accumulation of nitric acid in the recirculation system when a discharge-type ozone gas-producer is used as the ozone gas-producer.

System and method for stably infusing gas into liquid, and for delivering the stabilized gas-infused liquid into another liquid

A system for stabilizing gas-infused liquid, includes a tubular flow path configured to receive and pass therethrough the gas-infused liquid under a pressure of at least 20 psi, wherein a surface of the flow path configured to engage the gas-infused liquid flowing through the flow path is formed of material having a surface roughness (Ra) in a range of 0.1 μm-10.0 μm, and the flow path has a length which is at least 100 times a mean inner diameter thereof.

Carbonation method
11219873 · 2022-01-11 ·

A method and apparatus for carbonating a liquid in a pressurizable vessel, including first connecting a vessel with a carbon dioxide tank, wherein said vessel contains a liquid. A vessel can then be pressurized with carbon dioxide to a desired pressure. A pump or compressor can be activated to circulate gas through a hose out of the head space of the vessel to a carbonating stone back into the vessel. After a pre-determined period of time the pump is deactivated, and the carbon dioxide can cease to be introduced to the liquid within the vessel.

GAS DISSOLUTION DEVICE AND ALGAE CULTIVATION DEVICE
20210348106 · 2021-11-11 ·

The gas dissolution device includes a dissolution vessel storing a part of culture solution in a culture vessel, a gas supply pipe connected to a carbon dioxide cylinder and supplying carbon dioxide through an end inserted into the dissolution vessel, a gas discharger provided at the gas supply pipe and turning the carbon dioxide into microbubbles, and a mass flow controller controlling a flowrate of the carbon dioxide flowing in the gas supply pipe. Here, a water depth from the gas discharger to a liquid level of the culture solution in the dissolution vessel is set deeper than a water depth of the culture solution in the culture vessel.

EDUCTOR SENSOR SYSTEM
20220001340 · 2022-01-06 · ·

An automatic variable speed eductor recirculation system for metal recycling furnaces having a delacquering chamber and a separate heating chamber. The system includes a recirculation duct between the two chambers, an eductor in the duct, a variable speed blower forcing motive gases into the eductor creating a Venturi that draws VOC's from the delaquering chamber through the eductor, and an infrared opacity sensor proximate the eductor that measures the transparency level of the gases in the eductor. An electronic controller automatically adjusts the blower speed to control the eductor Venturi based upon the transparency level measurements of the opacity sensor.
