Pump device with a centrifugal pump and a mixing unit
A pump device (1) comprises a centrifugal pump (2) and a mixing unit (4) in which two fluids are mixed. The mixing unit (4) comprises a flapper valve (10) configured to move between a first and a second position in which it closes a first inlet (7) and a second inlet (8) of the mixing unit, respectively. At least one of the inlets houses a movable piston (13) which is biased towards being in contact with the flapper valve. The piston has at least one piston channel (15) or annular space (23) through which the fluid flows in to the mixing unit in a controlled manner.

Mixing device and molding machine
A mixing device is configured for the continuous provision of a gelling mass for a molding machine. The mixing device includes an inlet, an outlet and a conduit section which is situated between the inlet and the outlet and into which at least one admixing conduit runs out, via which admixing conduit a substance to be admixed can be fed such that the substance to be admixed is mixed with a base mass which is fed through the inlet, in a mixing region in the conduit section. The mixing device is configured in a manner such that the spatial distance between the outlet and the mixing region in which the substance to be admixed is mixed with the base mass, can be changed. A molding machine with such a mixing device and to a method for processing a flowable and gellable mass are provided.
METHOD FOR A DYNAMIC IN-LINE MIXING PROCESS
A method for the dynamic inline mixing of a pressurized medium containing a liquid and at least one further liquid or solid constituent in a bioprocess arrangement, the liquid being merged with the at least one further liquid or solid constituent in a predefined volume ratio at an opening point to form a resulting liquid flow, the bioprocess arrangement having a pump arrangement with a first pump, the first pump being arranged in the line of the line arrangement, the first pump being designed as a rotary pump configured for the dynamic inline mixing of the medium, the first pump having a liquid inlet, which during intended operation forms the suction side of the pump, and a liquid outlet, which during intended operation forms the pressure side of the pump, and the medium being conducted through the rotary pump for the purpose of dynamic inline mixing.
