An apparatus and method for mixing and milling dry ingredients with water to produce a homogenous beverage. The apparatus may include, for example, a water supply, a tubing system, a dry ingredient container, a splash-back prevention unit, and a mixer capable of emulsifying and homogenizing a slurry, which, in accordance with some embodiments, may include large ground course particles (such as nuts) and water. The apparatus may also include a pump configured to move the slurry and homogenized beverage through the tubing, and a motor, which, in accordance in some embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure, controls the mill.

FILLING SYSTEM SUITABLE FOR SOLID DRAG REDUCING AGENT AND SOLID THICKENER

The present invention provides a filling system suitable for a solid drag reducing agent and a solid thickener. The system comprises a raw material storage device, a raw material conveying device, a weight metering device, a feeding funnel, and a disperser. The above-mentioned system controls the feeding speed through the raw material conveying device and the weight metering device, and uses the feeding funnel and the disperser to achieve uniform dispersion of the raw material and water, and finally realizes online filling of the raw material.

Mixing System for Cement and Fluids

A technique facilitates mixing of cement slurry for use in a cementing application. At least one cement mixer is provided with a tank, e.g. a conical tank, having a powder cement blend inlet and a mixing liquid inlet. A cement slurry discharge may be positioned generally beneath the tank. A mixing assembly also is positioned below the tank and driven by a shaft. The mixing assembly is exposed to an interior of the tank and is used to mix the cement slurry when rotated by the shaft and to direct the cement slurry out through the cement slurry discharge. Additionally, a recirculation system comprises an inlet positioned to receive a portion of the cement slurry mixed in the mixing assembly. The recirculation system also comprises an outlet positioned to direct the portion back into the mixer to enhance mixing effects.

A blender has a mixing chamber for reception of materials to be blended. A mixing screw is mounted at a bottom of the mixing chamber for mixing materials within the mixing chamber and delivering mixed materials to an outlet feeding a processing line. The blender has a plurality of material handling compartments. One or more cleaning air jets are provided in each material handling compartment. The cleaning air jets are operable to direct material towards an outlet of the compartment. Each cleaning air jet is connected to a pressurised air supply through a valve which controls delivery of pressurised air to the cleaning air jet.

When rotated, the impeller pumps fluid through the fluid inlet. The mixer also includes a slinger disposed in the mixing chamber and configured to receive the fluid from the impeller and to receive an additive from the additive inlet. When rotated, the slinger slings the fluid and the additive radially outwards. The mixer further includes a flush line extending between the mixing chamber and the additive inlet. The flush line is receives, from the mixing chamber, a portion of the fluid pumped by the impeller and to deliver the portion of the fluid to the additive inlet.

The shroud assembly is disposed about the open upper end of the central cavity of the material mixing unit and the orifice of the material supply system.
